The sheet can provide tires, on which a rubber composition with a low electricity-transmitting property and low rolling resistance is applied, with excellent conductivity.
PNEUMATIC TIRES
The present invention provides a pneumatic tire, which includes a belt layer laminated and formed on an upper side of a carcass ply inside a tread portion, and a plurality of air vent cords arranged between the carcass ply and the belt with a predetermined interval, wherein at least a part of the air vent cords is formed so as to have electrical conductivity, thus to electrically communicate the carcass ply and the belt layer with each other, such that a static electricity generated in a body of an automobile is discharged through the tread grounded to the road surface via the carcass ply which electrically contacts with a tire wheel, thereby preventing an accident that may occur due to the static electricity in the automobile.
Pneumatic vehicle tire
A pneumatic vehicle tyre of radial type of construction, having a tread (1), having a carcass inlay (3), having electrically nonconductive sidewalls (7) and having at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in a bead region, which component or element, in the case of a tyre mounted on a wheel rim, comes into contact with said wheel rim, wherein either the tread (1) is electrically conductive or, in the tread region, at least one electrically conductive component (10) is provided which is overlapped on the outside by the sidewalls (7) and which is connected in electrically conductive fashion to the tread outer surface, and wherein filaments provided with an electrically conductive coating are incorporated at least in a sidewall region, the coating of which filaments forms electrically conductive passages between the tread (1) or the component (10) and the at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in the bead region.
TIRE, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING TIRE, AND RAW TIRE
In a tire of the present disclosure, an overlap width, between a conductive member and a rubber chafer, in an extending direction of the conductive member is 1 mm or more. A method of manufacturing a tire of the present disclosure includes vulcanizing a raw tire in a state such that an overlap width, between a conductive member and a rubber chafer before vulcanization, in an extending direction of the conductive member is 10 mm or more. In a raw tire of the present disclosure, an overlap width, between a conductive member and a rubber chafer before vulcanization, in an extending direction of the conductive member is 10 mm or more.
Pneumatic tire having specified grounding tread
A pneumatic tire includes a carcass layer, a belt layer, a tread rubber having a cap tread and an undertread, a pair of side wall rubbers, a pair of rim cushion rubbers, and a grounding tread that is exposed to a road contact surface of the tread rubber and that penetrates the cap tread and the undertread to contact the belt layer in an electrically conductive manner. The grounding tread includes a widened portion having a cross-sectional area that widens toward a contact surface with the belt layer at the contact portion with the belt layer. The widened portion of the grounding tread has a profile shape that bulges outward in a tire width direction.
Pneumatic Vehicle Tire
A pneumatic vehicle tyre of radial type of construction, having a tread (1), having a carcass inlay (3), having electrically non-conductive sidewalls (7) and having at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in a bead region, which component or element, in the case of a tyre mounted on a wheel rim, comes into contact with said wheel rim, wherein either the tread (1) is electrically conductive or, in the tread region, at least one electrically conductive component (10) is provided which is overlapped on the outside by the sidewalls (7) and which is connected in electrically conductive fashion to the tread outer surface, and wherein filaments provided with an electrically conductive coating are incorporated at least in a sidewall region, the coating of which filaments forms electrically conductive passages between the tread (1) or the component (10) and the at least one electrically conductive component (8) or element in the bead region.
Pneumatic Vehicle Tire
The invention relates to a pneumatic vehicle tire of a radial type of construction with a carcass (1) and a carcass turn-up (1a), wherein the carcass (1) and also the sidewall (5) consist of rubber compounds that are insufficiently electrically conductive, while the bead strip (7) consists of a rubber compound that is electrically conductive, and wherein at least the outer surface of the carcass (1) has electrically conductive, filament- or strip-shaped elements (12), which in the carcass turn-up (1a) lie radially on the inside. The invention is distinguished by the fact that an additional, electrically conductive component (9), which establishes a path of electrical conduction either from the one outer surface of the carcass (1) or from the inner surface of the carcass turn-up (1a) to the outer surface of the carcass turn-up (1a), is arranged on the end of the carcass turn-up (10).
