Gas detector for a face mask
A face mask system for detecting gases and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). The face mask system includes a protective mask, at least one communication device, a gas detection device and an external sensor. The gas detection device includes a power supply unit, an inductive coil loop, an internal microcontroller, a wireless communication chip and an internal sensor. The internal sensor is configured to detect and measure a plurality of inside mask VOC readings. The external sensor is configured to detect and measure a plurality of outside mask VOC readings. The external sensor compares an average inside VOC value with an average outside VOC value to provide unique and accurate information of the environment inside the protective mask thereby protecting the user from hazardous situations.
CONTEXT-BASED PROGRAMMABLE SAFETY RULES FOR PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
In some examples, a system includes: an article of personal protective equipment (PPE) that includes a communication component; a computing device communicatively coupled to the article of PPE, wherein the computing device: receives context data that is based on one or more of the article of PPE, a work environment for the article of PPE, or a worker assigned to the article of PPE; selects, based at least in part on the context data, a set of programmable safety rules that are contextually associated with the at least one article of PPE; sends the programmable safety rules to one or more of the article of PPE or a data hub communicatively coupled to the article of PPE; and wherein the programmable safety rules are configured at the article of PPE or the data hub to perform one or more operations based at least in part on PPE data.
NASAL MASK METHOD AND DEVICES
The embodiments disclose a method including fabricating a nasal mask configured for preventing nasal inhaling of airborne Covid-19 virus, a self-adhesive nasal strip mask for inactivating air borne viruses being inhaled by a user, making the nasal mask using a breathable fabric configured for creating a breathable fabric filter for filtering out air borne viruses, providing at least two ear straps coupled to the nasal mask configured for a user looping the at least two ear straps over the user's ears, integrating a dorsum conforming nose piece coupled to the nasal mask configured for creating a gap free fit, and fabricating structural stitching in the nasal mask configured for maintaining a breathable space fronting the nostrils.
AIR PURIFICATION APPARATUS FOR NASAL APPLICATION AND ASSOCIATED CASE
An air purification apparatus for nasal application is provided for purifying and/or reducing undesirable materials from air intended to enter a nasal cavity. The air purification apparatus for nasal application may include an air purification apparatus, housing component, power component, fan component, filtration component, germicidal irradiation component, aroma component, olfactory substance delivery component, nose plug component, monitoring component, and case. The case may reversibly enclose the apparatus and provide electrical power delivery.
CONTAINER FOR PACKAGED FILTRATION MASK
A packaged filtration mask can include a filtration mask packaged in a container in a vacuum or a partial vacuum. The container can be a tearable container, at least a portion of which can include a laminate of a first part and a second part. A resistance to tearing of the second part can be different than a resistance to tearing of the first part.
SENSOR-ENABLED RESPIRATOR FIT-TEST SYSTEM WITH CONTEXT-BASED REMEDIAL RECOMMENDATIONS
In some examples, a system includes a respirator configured to be worn by a user; a sensor operatively coupled to the respirator; and a computing device comprising a memory and one or more computer processors, the memory comprising instructions that when executed by the one or more computer processors cause the one or more computer processors to: in response to receiving data from the sensor, determine, during at least one action that is performed by the user and that corresponds to at least one graphical element, that the fit test was not satisfied; determine, based at least in part on particular context data associated with the fit test, at least one remedial recommendation to satisfy the fit test; and output for display the at least one remedial recommendation to satisfy the fit test.
Mask With Sensor
There is provided a mask for wearing on the face of a user. The mask comprises a mask body, a filter connected to the mask body, an electrical power source, and a control system. The mask further comprises a gas sensor configured to measure properties of a gas, such as a user's breath and/or ambient air.
AUTOMATIC PARTICLE OR SCENT TRACING TO CHECK SOCIAL DISTANCING IN PUBLIC PLACES
A kit includes at least one facemask configured to cover a respective user's mouth and nose. The facemask contains at least one layer impregnated with a first chemical. When the facemask covers the respective user's mouth and nose, airborne particles of the first chemical are released from the at least one layer through the user's breathing. A sensor is configured to measure airborne concentration of the first chemical. A processing circuitry is configured to receive outputs of the sensor, to calculate a change in airborne concentration of the first chemical, and to issue a notification when the airborne concentration of the first chemical increases at above a predetermined rate.
Portable Re-Breathing Apparatus for Disaster
A portable re-breathing apparatus is proposed. the portable re-breathing apparatus includes a mask configured to be worn on face of a user to correspond to mouth thereof and connected to a main hose through which air flows, a first oxygen mixing part connected to the main hose and through which exhalation flows, a second oxygen mixing part (200) configured to remove carbon dioxide (CO2) in the exhalation and to provide oxygen to the mask through the main hose, an air movement part connecting the first oxygen mixing part to the second oxygen mixing part (200), an oxygen supply unit including an oxygen container compress-storing oxygen and configured to supply oxygen to the second oxygen mixing part (200), and a controller (500) connected to the first and second oxygen mixing parts and the oxygen supply unit and configured to regulate CO2 and oxygen density to allow the user to breath.
Facemask having integrated modules
A facemask includes integrated actuating modules having sensors and other mechanisms. The facemask has one or more sockets into which various modules may be inserted. The facemask itself or the modules may include air filters and check valves to regulate airflow along or through the various modules. The modules may detect various substances either in the ambient air or the air exhaled by the wearer. The facemask also includes modules for measuring pulmonary and/or cardiovascular exertion, lung capacity and other physiological metrics.
