INDICATORS FOR USE IN OXYGEN SYSTEMS
An oxygen system for an aircraft may comprise: a chemical oxygen generator; an oxygen mask; and a tube assembly extending from the chemical oxygen generator to the oxygen mask, the tube assembly comprising a first tube and a second tube, the first tube defining a fluid conduit that fluidly couples the chemical oxygen generator to the oxygen mask in response to being in use, the second tube configured to house a plurality of lights therein.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING AIR FLOW
Disclosed example respirators comprise: a filter configured to filter the air; a blower fan configured to provide continuous air flow at variable speeds; an air duct configured to direct air from the blower fan to an exhaust location, the blower fan configured to blow air through the air duct; and a blower controller configured to: control the blower fan to automatically adjust an airflow speed of the blower fan to a plurality of airflow speeds over a plurality of different time periods, the plurality of airflow speeds being within an airflow speed range.
Personal air filter
A personal air filter device with an air filter assembly retained in the air filter holding member is disclosed. An ear support member is attached to the air filter holding member and can be hung over the ear of the user to support the air filter holding member. Alternatively, a clip member attached to the air filter holding member can be utilized to attach the device to the user's clothing or accessories. An air tube assembly extends from the air filter holding member to the mouthpiece for the purpose of breathing filtered air flowing through the air filter assembly. An air intake check valve situated near the end of the air tube attached to a mouthpiece retaining member and an air outflow check valve situated near the outer surface of the mouthpiece retaining member to ensure exhaled air is directed out of the device and is not reinhaled.
NASAL-PLUG FILTER DEVICE AND SET THEREOF
A nasal-plug filter device including a device body, a filter, a first actuator, a second actuator, and a gas sensor is provided. The device body has a ventilating channel, and the ventilating channel has an inlet end and an outlet end. The filter is disposed at the outlet end. The first actuator is disposed at the inlet end for being driven to transmit gas outside the device body into the device body. The second actuator is stacked on and bonded to the first actuator, and the second actuator is driven to transmit the gas transmitted by the first actuator to the filter to be filtered and purified. The gas sensor is disposed at the outlet end. A connection element may be provided for connecting two nasal-plug filter devices with each other.
APPARATUS AND METHOD REDUCING HUMIDITY IN RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE DEVICE
Apparatuses and methods reducing humidity in respiratory protective devices are provided. For example, an example respiratory protective device includes a humidity sensor component embedded in an exhalation filtration component of the respiratory protective device, at least one fan component positioned adjacent to an inhalation filtration component of the respiratory protective device, and a controller component in electronic communication with the humidity sensor component and the at least one fan component.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING AIR FLOW IN RESPIRATORY PROTECTIVE DEVICES
Apparatuses and methods for optimizing air flow in respiratory protective devices are provided. For example, an example respiratory protective device may include a pressure sensor component, at least one fan component, and a controller component. In some example, the controller component is configured to receive a plurality of air pressure indications from the pressure sensor component, calculate a breath pattern indication based on the plurality of air pressure indications, determine a forward rotation speed value for the at least one fan component, and determine a forward rotation start signal transmission time point and a forward rotation stop signal transmission time point for the at least one fan component.
Context-based programmable safety rules for personal protective equipment
In some examples, a system includes: an article of personal protective equipment (PPE) that includes a communication component; a computing device communicatively coupled to the article of PPE, wherein the computing device: receives context data that is based on one or more of the article of PPE, a work environment for the article of PPE, or a worker assigned to the article of PPE; selects, based at least in part on the context data, a set of programmable safety rules that are contextually associated with the at least one article of PPE; sends the programmable safety rules to one or more of the article of PPE or a data hub communicatively coupled to the article of PPE; and wherein the programmable safety rules are configured at the article of PPE or the data hub to perform one or more operations based at least in part on PPE data.
NEGATIVE PRESSURE PROCEDURE MASK
A mask for a patient and a method for reducing exposure of aerosol particles emitted from the patient to other individuals. The mask may have an inner chamber configured to enclose a nose and a mouth of the patient. The mask may further have a negative pressure chamber fluidly connected to the inner chamber. The negative pressure chamber may have an outer opening and a suction opening. The outer opening may be covered by a seal. The seal may be configured to be cut or opened to form a device opening providing access to the nose of the patient. The device opening may receive a medical device and form a seal around the medical device. The suction opening may be configured to couple to a suction device for removing the aerosol particles located within the inner chamber and the negative pressure chamber.
HALF MASK FOR THE FACE
A half mask for the face, including one or more covering areas for covering one or both respiratory openings of the person wearing the half mask and one or more fastening areas for fastening the half mask to its wearer, particularly to one or more of their head, neck, and throat, one or more UV-C disinfection units for disinfecting the inhaled and exhaled air and one or more devices for fitting the half mask tightly around the face of its wearer are provided.
RESPIRATOR MASK WITH A FILTER
The disclosure relates to a respirator mask including a mask body and at least one filter for filtering a fluid (e.g. air) flowing through the mask and/or the mask body. The at least one filter may include one or more of: an Ultra-Violet (UV) filter and/or UV emitter, a filter fleece, and/or an electrical and/or electrostatic filter.
