CENTRAL TIRE INFLATION SYSTEM
A central tire inflation system configured to monitor and maintain an air pressure on the tires of a vehicle includes a housing, a central processing unit, a controller, and a valve. The housing has a plurality of walls and a bottom forming an interior volume. The central processing unit has the necessary electronics to receive, store, transmit and manipulate data. The controller has a plurality of modes of operation wherein the modes of operation include default parameters for air pressure within the tires of the vehicle. The valve is configured to direct air flow as required into or out of the tires, the valve being operably coupled to the controller. The central tire inflation system is configured to monitor air pressure of the tires and provide inflation or deflation thereof based the mode of operation.
PILOT OPERATED REGULATOR WITH ADJUSTABLE MINIMUM DELIVERY PRESSURE
A regulator for establishing outlet fluid pressure. The regulator includes a valve body having a fluid pressure inlet in selective fluid communication with a fluid pressure outlet. A pilot pressure inlet is formed in the valve body and in fluid communication with a source of pilot pressure. Valving structure in the valve body establishes outlet fluid pressure as a function of pilot pressure. First adjustable structure within the valve body may establish a minimum outlet fluid pressure threshold without regard to pilot pressure. Second adjustable structure within the valve body may establish outlet fluid pressure offset relative to pilot pressure.

VEHICLE AND TRACK SYSTEM WITH PRESSURE-ADJUSTABLE WHEELS
A vehicle includes a plurality of track systems, a fluid pump, a plurality of fluid lines fluidly connecting the fluid pump to at least some of the tires of the wheels of each of the track systems, a plurality of pneumatic inflation actuators, a plurality of pneumatic deflation actuators, and a system controller. The system controller is in electronic communication with the fluid pump, the plurality of pneumatic inflation actuators, and the plurality of pneumatic deflation actuators. The system controller is operable to selectively adjust fluid pressure in select ones of the wheels of any one of the track systems of the vehicle by actuating corresponding ones of the plurality of pneumatic inflation actuators and the plurality of pneumatic deflation actuators. A track system has at least one of the leading idler wheels, trailing idler wheels, and mid-roller wheels including a tire containing a fluid.

A control system for a motor vehicle includes a central tire inflation system (CTIS) electronic controller, the CTIS controller being configured to control the CTIS to cause inflation and deflation of one or more tires, the CTIS controller being configured to cause the CTIS to operate in a selected one of a plurality of operating modes in each of which the system is configured to set a pressure of one or more tires of the vehicle to a predetermined tire pressure value, the CTIS controller being configured to receive data indicative of a type of tire fitted to the vehicle, the controller being configured to prevent operation in a predetermined at least one of the plurality of operating modes in dependence on the data indicative of tire type.
Device for tire pressure monitoring of a vehicle system
A device for tire pressure monitoring of a vehicle tire of a vehicle system includes a tire inflation system in communication with the vehicle tire. A control unit calculates a set pressure value to be maintained for the tire pressure. A storage unit is in communication with the control unit such that the control unit adjusts the calculated set pressure value in dependence on an operating state classification derived from operating state parameters of the vehicle system. The control unit determines a geoposition of the vehicle system correlating with the derived operating state classification and stores it with the operating state classification in the storage unit. The control unit further recalls from the storage unit the relevant operating state classification for purposes of anticipatory adjustment of the set pressure value of the tire pressure when a renewed approach of the vehicle system to the stored geoposition is detected.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODIFYING TIRE PRESSURE IN AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT
An agricultural vehicle is operable in a first state for transport and in a second state for field work and includes a frame supported by a plurality of tires. A processor is operable to receive a signal generated as a result of the agricultural vehicle transitioning from the first state to the second state or from the second state to the first state. A gas system is operable to modify the tire pressure of the plurality of tires of the agricultural vehicle in response to the signal.

A method for determining the loading of a tire (1) mounted on a vehicle (9) and running along the ground, said tire (1) being equipped with a sensor (10), comprises: acquisition, by the sensor (10), of a measurement signal representative of the change in curvature of the tire (1) during running, determination, from the measurement signal, of measurement data comprising a first parameter representative of a length of a contact patch (6) in contact with the ground (7) during a revolution of the wheel bearing the tire, and determination of the loading of the tire (1) as a function of the first parameter, of the internal pressure of the tire, and of a firmness factor representative of a condition of firmness of the ground, which is derived from measurements taken while the tire is rolling over said ground.
