INFLATION VIEWING DEVICE
A tire inflation viewing device that enables to view the proper operation of the inflation arrangements and that, in turn, enables to determine which of all of the tires is being inflated and has an air leak.
Tire Inflation System Visual Flow Indicator
A visual flow indicator provided on a tire inflation system air hose or rotary union housing.
TIRE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tire management system includes a control valve and a check valve. A method for managing a tire includes: determining a pressure parameter value, determining an operational parameter for a valve based on the pressure parameter value, and controlling the valve based on the operational parameter.

AUTO-LOCATION OF TIRE SENSOR BY VEHICLE WHEEL POSITION
Aspects of tire sensor auto-location are described. Timestamped tire acceleration values are received for a set of tire sensor devices. Each tire sensor device provides a tire-specific subset of the timestamped tire acceleration values. Vehicle configuration parameters are identified to define a number of rear axles and a number of tires or wheels on each side of each axle. The vehicle configuration parameters and the timestamped tire acceleration values are processed to identify and assign an axle position and a vehicle side position for each tire sensor device of the set of tire sensor devices.
AUTO-LOCATION OF TIRE SENSOR BY VEHICLE WHEEL POSITION
Aspects of tire sensor auto-location are described. Tire temperature values are received for a set of tire sensor devices. Each tire sensor device provides a tire-specific subset of the tire temperature values. A vehicle configuration indicates that the vehicle has a dual tire setup. The tire temperature values are processed to identify and assign a dual tire position indicating an inner position or an outer position for each tire sensor device.
Tire mounting state detection system, tire mounting state detection method, and tire mounting state detection program
A tire mounting state detection system (100) is provided with a vehicle configuration holding unit (230) holding a vehicle configuration including the number of wheels of a vehicle (10); a transmitter number detection unit (250) detecting the number of transmitters based on a radio signal received by a receiving unit; a state detection unit (260) detecting whether or not the number of transmitters exceeds or is short the number of wheels based on the number of wheels based on the vehicle configuration and the number of transmitters detected; and an output unit (270) outputting that the state of the transmitter is abnormal when it is determined that the number of transmitters exceeds or is short the number of wheels.
WHEEL POSITION IDENTIFYING SYSTEM AND WHEEL POSITION IDENTIFYING DEVICE
A wheel position identifying system includes a receiver and transmitters, which are respectively provided in two wheel assemblies of a wheel assembly set. When each transmitter detects that it is located at a specific position in a rotation direction of the wheel assembly, the transmitter transmits a wireless signal including an identification information. A wireless signal transmitted by the transmitter provided in the outer wheel assembly when the transmitter detects the specific position is defined as a first wireless signal. A wireless signal transmitted by the transmitter provided in the inner wheel assembly when the transmitter detects the specific position is defined as a second wireless signal. Receiver processing circuitry of the receiver identifies in which of the outer wheel assembly and the inner wheel assembly each transmitter is provided based on the reception intervals of the first wireless signal and the second wireless signal.
Tire Sensor Location Method and Apparatus
A method of locating a wheel-mounted electronic device, such as a tire pressure monitoring device. A wireless signal is transmitted from an interrogation device from each of a plurality of interrogation locations. The signals are received by the wheel-mounted device and received signal strength is measured for each interrogation location. The wheel-mounted device then transmits, in respect of each interrogation location, a wireless signal indicating the measured signal strength. These signals are received by the interrogation device which determines from them a location of the wheel-mounted device with respect to a wheel.
SELF-REINFLATING TIRE
A device for transport of air in the tire P or close to it consisting of a chamber K in the shape of a hollow compressible channel, placed along at least a part of the tire perimeter, characterized by the fact that a ring OK is placed at the inner side of the chamber K with the distance of its outer side from the tire axis of rotation equal to 1 to 1.1 multiple of the distance of the bottom side of the chamber K from the axis of rotation of the tire P.
