ULTRAVIOLET GERMICIDAL IRRADIATION MASK
A personal protective equipment system including a face mask and an ultraviolet germicidal irradiation stage to irradiate incoming volume of air before being introduced to the user. There is included a flexible printed circuit enclosed within a housing of the face mask, the flexible printed circuit having an array of UV LED circuits. A fan is provided to drive the volume of air through a passage within the mask.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT SYSTEM FOR SAFE AIR, TRAIN OR BUS TRAVEL PROTECTING AGAINST INFECTIOUS AGENTS INCLUDING NOVEL CORONAVIRUS - COVID-19
Aspects of the invention relate to personal protection systems against COVID-19 including face masks and methods, systems or devices of managing, regulating and/or filtering airflow during travel on an aircraft, train, or bus.

MICRO FLOW REGULATOR AND BREATHING HOOD SYSTEM USING SAME
A breathing apparatus provides gas within a hood surrounding a user's head from two oxygen tanks which each utilize a regulator. The first tank serves to inflate the hood while the second provides oxygen to the hood at a sufficient amount for human breathing for a longer time than traditionally available for such hoods. The longer life is provided through the use of micro regulators which utilize micro springs or wave washers and micro machining techniques to regulate the flow of oxygen in a way that has not been previously possible.

Filter cartridge holder with fit-check device
A cartridge holder for a respirator, the cartridge holder including a fit-check device with a sealing platen that can be actuated between a first, unsealed position and a second, sealed position in which at least a portion of the sealing platen contacts a major surface of a disposable filter cartridge within the cartridge holder so as to prevent airflow through the disposable filter cartridge.
RESPIRATOR
The present disclosure relates generally to respirators where inhaled air and exhaled air are separated into different channels to permit a user to always inhale fresh air. The respirators described herein can filter inhaled air, and optionally exhaled air.

NOSE RESPIRATOR DEVICE
A nose respirator device with a holder connected to a base, the holder has a top sitting across the nasal bridge and two arms extending downward to join with the base, which sits across the subnasale and contains two open cavities with upper openings capable of being inserted into each nostril. Each cavity can be further divided by a separator into two channels for inhalation and exhalation, respectively. One-way air flow in each channel can be further ensured with valves, which open only in one direction upon the push of air current. Filters can be fitted into each cavity or channel for air cleaning. One or more attachments can be fitted onto the base for additional purposes, which include extra filtration and disinfection. The area within the holder and the base can be covered with a sheet, which can also be used for device classification and user identification.
SCBA Facemask Assembly with Accelerometer to Extend Battery Life of Electrical Components
A facemask assembly for a self-contained breathing apparatus includes a facemask configured to be worn by a user, an electronic device connected with the facemask, a microcontroller configured to send signals to the electronic device, an accelerometer coupled with the microcontroller and configured to sense motion of the facemask; and a battery configured to supply power to the electronic device. When motion is detected by the accelerometer, a signal is transmitted to the microcontroller and the microcontroller interprets the electrical signal to selectively adjust the power level supplied to the electronic device.
