RESPIRATOR DEVICES WITH SENSORS, AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS

The present technology relates to open respirator devices having sensors for measuring breath biometrics. For example, a respirator device (100) can include a mask component (102) that fits at least partially over a user's face and forms a gap (112) between a periphery of the mask component and the user's face, thereby forming a breathing chamber (108) between the mask portion and the user's face. A fan unit can provide air from the external environment to the breathing chamber for the user to inhale. In some embodiments, the air may be filtered before entering the breathing chamber and the fans may provide a positive pressure seal between across the gap. One or more sensors can be coupled to the mask component for measuring one or more metrics associated with the user's breath.

OXYGEN CONTROL SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED PRESSURE REGULATOR
20230081989 · 2023-03-16 ·

Described are oxygen control systems that utilize compressed air or oxygen. The oxygen control systems may include a control device having a first inlet that enables the flow of a supply gas from a high pressure gas source at an input pressure into the control device. The control device also includes a second inlet that enables a flow of atmospheric air into the control device and an outlet in fluid communication with the first inlet and the second inlet. The control device also includes a pressure regulator that is operable in a first mode and a second mode. In the first mode, the pressure regulator reduces input pressure of the gas to a first outlet pressure at the outlet, and, in the second mode, the pressure regulator reduces the input pressure of the gas to a second outlet pressure at the outlet that is greater than the first outlet pressure.

Pressure support system valve

The present disclosure describes a pressure support therapy device valve that enables a subject to safely supplement therapy pressure support with low flow oxygen while using a heated (or non-heated) tube. The valve conducts a pressurized flow of breathable gas and the low flow oxygen to the heated tube. The valve includes electrical components configured to pass power from the pressure support therapy device to the heated tube, and a plunger biased to close a flow path from the pressure support therapy device when a pressurized flow of breathable gas is not provided (or is below a predetermined pressure threshold). Closing the flow path stops oxygen gas from flowing back through the valve toward the pressurized gas source.

Oxygen generator outlet manifold with improved thermic properties

An oxygen generator outlet manifold assembly that includes an outlet manifold and an end cover. The outlet manifold includes a main body portion with inner and outer surfaces and at least a first hose connector that includes an outlet defined therein extending from the main body portion. The main body portion defines a main body portion interior that includes a connection opening defined in the inner surface, a ring chamber, a flow space and a distribution chamber. An annular ring is positioned in the main body portion chamber interior and separates the ring chamber from the distribution chamber. The end cover includes a generator outlet portion extending therefrom that is received in the connection opening. The generator outlet portion includes an outlet valve having an open and a closed state and includes an interior chamber that cooperates with the ring chamber to define an outlet chamber. An oxygen flow path is defined through the open valve, to the outlet chamber, through the flow space, through the distribution chamber and to the outlet of the first hose connector.
