Tire removal tool
A tire removal tool for removing a tire from a dual wheel assembly has a handle having a gripping portion configured to be manually gripped, a head configured for introduction into the space between the wheels, and an intermediate portion connected between the handle and the head. The intermediate portion has a bent configuration so that the tool can extend over the outermost wheel with the head in contact with the inside of the wheel and the handle manually accessible at the outside of the wheel. The head includes an engagement surface arranged to simultaneously contact the sidewall of the innermost wheel to act as a fulcrum for transmitting an upward force applied to the handle to a force at the distal end of the head sufficient to dislodge the tire bead from the rim.

Tire bead holding pliers includes a first jaw having a lipped plate configured to engage an outboard side of a wheel rim to locate the pliers, and a second jaw defined by a first and second hook and configured to curve around the wheel rim, move toward the first jaw, and engage an inboard side of the wheel rim as the pliers are tightened. The first hook has a first concave portion facing away from the first jaw and configured to receive a bead. The second hook extends from the first hook opposite the first concave portion, has a second concave portion facing the first jaw, and clamps the wheel rim therebetween. During tire installation or removal, the bead is hooked onto the second jaw, which holds the bead in place during the operation in a hands-free fashion.

A system and method for removing a motorcycle tire from a wheel that can include a ram, a lever, and a securing bar. The ram can be positioned on the bead of the tire. Pressure or force can be applied to the lever which in turn can apply pressure to the bead of the tire, breaking the seal between the tire and the wheel.

A system and method for removing a motorcycle tire from a wheel that can include a ram, a lever, and a securing bar. The ram can be positioned on the bead of the tire. A unitary structure tire lever has an opening for the user to insert fingers and grab the lever when installing and removing a tire from a rim. The lever has a curved smooth installation hook at one end with a ridge to engage a lip of a tire rim during tire installation. The lever also has a curved smooth removal hook at the other end with a notch that enables the lever to pivot about the lip of the tire rim during tire removal. The removal hook also has a curved seat portion that engages with a bead of the tire during tire removal.
