MODULAR TIRE SERVICE STATION
A modular tire service station for servicing vehicle tires includes a first pre-configured service module and a second pre-configured service module that is proximate the first module. A customer area is disposed in at least one of the first module and the second module, a tire storage area is disposed in at least one of the first module and the second module, and a tire service area is disposed in at least one of the first module and the second module.
Tire testing device
A tire testing device having a rotary drive unit that rotationally drives a tire; a load drum that has an outer peripheral surface that can come into contact with the tire being rotationally driven; a drum support mechanism that supports the load drum and relatively moves the load drum such that the tire and the outer peripheral surface of the load drum come into contact and separate; a shape sensor that detects a surface shape of the tire being rotationally driven; a drive control unit that controls the operation of the rotary drive unit, the drum support mechanism, and the shape sensor; a registration unit that stores information related to the tire test; and an input reception unit that receives, and registers, in the registration unit, information related to the tire test entered by a user prior to the tire test being conducted.

VALVE FOR TUBELESS TIRES
The invention is directed to a valve stem system (1) for tubeless wheels. The valve stem system (1) includes a valve stem body (2) with a first end (3) and a second end (4), wherein the second end (4) is located in a tire/rim-volume when mounted at the wheel. A first valve (5) is arranged at the second end (4) of the valve stem body (2). The first valve (5) is a self-sealing one-way valve. A second valve (10) is removably mountable at the first end (3) and is, when mounted, at least partially housed in the valve stem body (2). The second valve (10) comprises a valve stem core inserted in the valve stem body (2) and can be added or removed from the valve stem body (2) while pressure is maintained within the tire by the first valve (5). The invention further concerns a probe (30) for a valve stem system, a method to test the amount of sealant in a wheel and a refilling assembly (80) for a wheel.
Tire holding device, tire test system provided with same, and control method for tire holding device
In a tire removal processing, a clamping step and a tire removing step are executed. In the clamping step, a tire is clamped by an upper support and a lower support by bringing the lower support into contact with a lower side wall of the tire in a state where a lower rim is fitted in the tire and the upper support is in contact with an upper side wall of the tire. In the tire removing step, the tire is detached from the lower rim by relatively moving the lower rim vertically downward with respect to a lower support while the clamping step is maintained.
Method and apparatus for wheel assembly
An apparatus and method of assembling a radially outer portion of a nonpneumatic wheel onto a hub (100) having a plurality of slots (150) extending along an axis, each of the slots (150) arranged in a frustoconical orientation extending from the first end (632) to the second end (634) such that the distance between the slots is greater at the first end than at the second end.

METHOD FOR MOUNTING A TYRE ON A RIM OR DEMOUNTING A TYRE FROM A RIM AND APPARATUS THEREFORE
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for mounting a tyre on a rim or demounting a tyre from a rim. The method includes the steps of rotating the wheel (tyre/rim assembly) by an electric motor about an axis, checking the current consumption of the electric motor during the mounting and demounting operation, and continuously and automatically adjusting a specific combination of torque and speed of the electric motor during the mounting/demounting operation. The apparatus for mounting a tyre on a rim or demounting a tyre from a rim comprises an electric motor for rotating the wheel (rim/tyre assembly) about an axis, a sensing device for sensing the motor current and transmitting corresponding signals to a control device and an adjustment controller for continuously and automatically adjusting a specific combination of torque and speed of the electric motor during the mounting/demounting operation.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING A TIRE OF A VEHICLE
The invention concerns a device and a method for detecting a tire on a vehicle to determine whether there is a single or twin tire on an axle. The device has an optical sensor for this purpose, the sensor detecting at least one region of a rim on which a tire to be determined is mounted. An evaluation unit is also provided which is designed to determine a shape of the area of the rim from the sensor signals and to generate a signal from the shape which represents the type of tire.
Method and system for wear monitoring using RF reflections
In an embodiment, a system for wear monitoring, includes a wear surface, a metallic reflector embedded in the wear surface, a radio-wave transmitter, and a radio-wave receiver. The metallic reflector reflects radio waves transmitted by the radio-wave transmitter for detection by the radio wave receiver. Attenuation of the radio waves between transmission by the radio-wave transmitter and detection by the radio-wave receiver indicates a degree of wear of the wear surface.
