The apparatus (10) includes a base structure that supports a movable wheel engaging portion, the wheel engaging portion including a socket wrench (23) and a positioning device, wherein the positioning device can be used to locate the wheel engaging portion to aid the socket wrench (23) to fit or remove a wheel nut.
Tyre-removal apparatus
A tire removal apparatus has a base with a support for rotating a wheel. A frame having an upright with a longitudinal axis substantially parallel to an axis of rotation of the wheel is joined to the base. A support arm associated with the upright is movable by an actuator in a direction substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the wheel. A tool for operating on the wheel is mounted on the support arm. A sensor for detecting a parameter representing contact between the tool and the wheel is associated with the actuator, and is operationally connected to a control unit to control the actuator and/or another actuator associated with the support arm to move the tool along a trajectory determined by the control unit depending on the parameter representing contact between the tool and the wheel.
MULTI-PURPOSE WHEEL WORKSTATION AND USE THEREOF
A system multi-purpose workstation for an assembly having a wheel and a tire, includes a platform and a plurality of configuration sets detachably coupled with the platform. The platform has a frame and an assembly base coupled to the frame and configured for the assembly to be attached thereon. A use selectively couple one of the configuration sets with the platform to either separate the tire from the wheel or install the tire on the wheel.
WHEEL-HOLDER, TIRE CHANGER APPARATUS USING SAID WHEEL-HOLDER AND ADJUSTMENT PROCESS OF SAID WHEEL-HOLDER
The present invention concerns a wheel-holder including: a support base, a shaft slidingly movable with respect to the support base and having a plurality of stops, a support plate carried by the shaft and configured to receive the rim of a wheel, a block carried by the support base and configured to engage a stop for locking the shaft in an operating position, preventing the relative sliding between support base and shaft. The block includes an insert movable with respect to the shaft, a maneuvering element active on the insert and configurable between a thrust position and a release position. The block includes a pusher which, in the release position of the maneuvering element, thrusts on the insert to maintain it in engagement with the stop.
DEVICE FOR FITTING AND REMOVING A TIRE ON A RIM
A device for fitting and removing a tire on a rim, comprises: a working assembly movable along at least one first direction to vary its level with respect to the rim and provided with at least one tool adapted to interact with the tire; where the working assembly comprises at least one supporting element movable along the first direction, at least one fitting tool and one removal tool of the tire which are separate from each other and locked together with the supporting element along the first direction, wherein the fitting tool and the removal tool are movable with respect to each other along at least one direction of work which is transverse with respect to the first direction.
System for optimizing robot performance
A system and a method, for assisting a user in programming a robot. Storage circuitry includes predefined possible values for a physical condition of at least two joints, the values being subdivided into two or more ranges. Processing circuitry is arranged to acquire a first path of the Tool Centre Point (TCP), receive, for each of a plurality of points of the first path and for the joints, a value associated with the physical condition at the respective points, determine which of the ranges the value is associated with, generate at least one additional path, associate each of the at least two joints to a respective path, and send instructions to a display, to illustrate the first path and the additional path, together with the information of which range the values are associated with at the plurality of points of the paths.
TYRE CHANGING MACHINE
A tyre changing machine includes a wheel support assembly for locking and setting in rotation a rim of a wheel from which to demount or on which to mount a tyre, and a bead breaking tool disposed at an end of a bead breaking arm and able to carry out the bead breaking operation. The bead breaking arm is movable between a disengaged position and a working position. A motor device has an output drive shaft for moving the bead breaking arm between the disengaged and working positions. Means for transmitting the drive from the motor device to the bead breaking arm include threaded means having an external screw-thread and hollow counter-threaded means operatively coupled with the threaded means. Connecting means operatively associate the means for transmitting the drive to the bead breaking arm.
Paste based lubricating system
A system includes a processing station and a lubricant supply system in fluid communication with the processing station. The processing station is operable to process at least one of a tire and a wheel prior to joining the tire and the wheel to form a tire-wheel assembly. The processing station includes at least one of a tire lubricating sub-station or a wheel lubricating sub-station. The lubricant supply system includes a storage container configured to store a lubricant and a whipping device received by the lubricant container and operable to whip or blend the lubricant from a semi-solid state to a whipped state. The lubricant supply system also includes a pump operable to pump the lubricant in the whipped state out of the storage container.
TYRE DISMOUNTING APPARATUS ADAPTED TO BE INSTALLED ON A MOTOR VEHICLE AND TYRE DISMOUNTING METHOD
A tyre dismounting apparatus adapted to be installed on a motor vehicle comprises: a base configured to be fixed to the motor vehicle; a frame, hinged to the base and tiltable about a tilting axis between a rest position and a working position; a tilting actuator connected to the base and to the frame to move the frame relative to the base; a wheel-holder unit configured to receive a wheel and lock it in place and rotating about an axis of rotation to drive the wheel in rotation about the axis of rotation; a longitudinal actuator connected to the frame and configured to move the wheel-holder unit along a longitudinal axis having at least one component in a vertical direction, parallel to the direction of the weight force; a working unit connected to the frame and including a rod and a tool connected to the rod. The tyre dismounting apparatus comprises a transverse actuator connected to the working unit to move it translationally relative to the wheel-holder unit along a transverse axis parallel to the tilting axis of the frame.
