A pneumatic valve for a tire having a stem fluidly coupled to a pressure vessel is provided. The pneumatic valve includes a core body that couples to the stem, the core body having an interior passageway. A cap is coupled to the core body, the cap having a concavity on an outer diameter and a bore hole extending from one end, the bore hole being in selective fluid communication with the interior passageway. The cap further has an interior portion, the core body being at least partially disposed in the interior portion. A valve seat is disposed in the interior portion between the core body and the cap member. A sealing plug is moveably disposed at least partially in the interior passageway and at least partially within the bore hole. A biasing member is disposed in the interior passageway and arranged to bias the sealing plug against the valve seat.

In order to be able to perform an emptying of the tire, an emptying conduit, which is separated from the filling conduit in a pressure-tight manner, is formed in the valve body and includes an emptying valve, and from this emptying conduit an emptying opening leads through the valve body to the outside, wherein a shut-off element of the emptying valve is coupled to an element, which is movable by pressure medium loading, in such a way that a movement of the movable element, which is brought about by the pressure medium loading in the filling conduit, moves the shut-off element of the emptying valve into an open position.

A safety valve replaces a tire valve. The valve includes a generally elongate hollow main body having an upper portion, a lower flex hose connector, a side tubular branch having a valve seat with a ball valve, an electronics housing having a battery, motor and a drive pin for the ball valve. The lower flex hose connector is adapted for connection to a flex hose or valve stem of the vehicle tire. The side branch branches from the main body and communicates with the hollow interior of the main body. The side branch has a plurality of air exit apertures at its periphery. The valve seat includes a base with an aperture therein through which the drive pin can extend through to engage the ball valve. The ball valve sits in the base and is biased in the valve seat via a spring to cover the aperture.

The present invention relates to novel calibrated gauges for use with tire deflators which improve their ease of use, accuracy and consistency. Particularly, these novel gauges enable users to precisely set or maintain the distances between various fixed points on a tire deflator, which correspond to a desired tire pressure, enabling the simplified, precise and reliable setting of that tire deflator. This is a huge improvement as most tire deflators rely on inherently unreliable trial and error calibration of their air pressure settings which may change over time and without indication. More particularly, the present invention enables faster setting times for tire deflators with more reliable results, easier changes between pressure settings, and more accurate tire pressures. Embodiments of this invention include various gauges customized in dimension and material for use with different model tire deflators to achieve various tire pressures as desired.

The air channeling apparatus is further sized to be inserted through the valve stem hole of a wheel rim. An inner surface of the air channeling apparatus includes threads that can thread onto a valve stem of the wheel. At least one opening in the air channeling apparatus may blast pressurized air into the space between the wheel rim and the tubeless tire.

A pneumatically operated gas valve mounted on a vessel containing pressurized gas. The gas valve includes a piston positioned in a cylinder with one closed end so that the piston seats against a gas outlet to close the gas valve. A control reservoir is formed in the cylinder between the piston and the closed end of the cylinder. Upon filling vessel, some of the pressurized gas enters the control reservoir to provide a control pressure behind the piston. Actuating the control mechanism vents the control reservoir, resulting in the gas valve opening rapidly to release the pressurized gas in the vessel through an exhaust port of the gas valve.
