THERMOSTATIC GARMENT BEING HEATED AND COOLED BY POWER SUPPLY
A thermostatic garment being heated and cooled by a power supply and includes a thermostatic garment body. A first heat exchange water pipe network and a second heat exchange water pipe network are arranged on the thermostatic garment body in a laying manner. A thermoelectric cooler, an electric heating sheet, a controller, a power supply, a first water pump, a second water pump, a first heat conducting water tank, and a second heat conducting water tank are arranged outside the thermostatic garment body. The first heat conducting water tank is provided with a first temperature sensor, and the first temperature sensor is electrically connected to an input end of the controller. Output ends of the controller is further electrically connected to the thermoelectric cooler, the electric heating sheet and the water pump respectively. The electric heating sheet is connected to the first heat conducting water tank.
PORTABLE COOLING DEVICE FOR HUMANS AND/OR ANIMALS
The invention relates to a portable cooling device for humans and/or animals, in particular a vest, a jacket, a cape, a coat or a blanket, characterized in that the portable cooling device (10) comprises at least two water atomizers, which are connected thereto, together with the reservoirs (2.2, 5) and at least two fans (2.1, 6), in that the portable cooling device (10) has a fixing device so that, when in use, a free ventilation and cooling region (11, 12) is formed between the portable cooling device (10) and the surface to be cooled (13, 14) of the human and/or animal, and in that the fans (2.1, 6) and the water atomizers together with the reservoirs (2.2, 5) for ventilating and cooling said ventilation and cooling region (11, 12) are arranged next to one another.
MONITORING OPERATIVES IN HAZARDOUS ENVIRONMENTS
Operatives are monitored in a hazardous environment. A control unit is connected to a wiring loom embedded within an item of clothing having illuminatable devices and interface connectors. A monitoring device is connected to an interface connector and a radio device is connected to an interface connector. The control unit is activated to supply power to the connected monitoring device and the connected radio device. Condition data is conveyed from the monitoring device to the control unit. Uplink signals are transmitted from the control unit to a base station via a cellular radio communication module. Downlink signals are received at the control unit from the base station. Condition data is transmitted via the cellular radio communication module when the downlink signals are being received. Condition data is transferred to the non-cellular radio device when the downlink signals are not being received, for transmission to the base station.
Firefighter protective garment having varying composite structures to increase dissipation of metabolic heat
A firefighter's protective garment including an outer shell, moisture barrier and thermal barrier in which the composite structure varies according to the sweating cartography of the human body and in so doing enhances the evacuation of metabolic heat.
Heat deformable material for face seal
Thermally deformable face seals and respirators including such face seals. The thermally deformable face seal structures comprise composite phase change materials that mold to the face of a user to provide a personalized but one-size-fits-all facial fit having excellent shape retention after use and long term durability. The phase change material is applied onto a base component to cover all or substantially all of the surface area of the base component and adapts to the face of the user to provide a secure, leak-free seal.
Cold weather infant survival suit
A cold weather infant survival suit includes a principal body cavity having infant/baby holding attachments to fit/hold their small bodies and a coverable cranial opening. The structure of the suit includes a layered structure of mechanically interconnected cavities within cavities. A composite of tear-proof and insulation material forms an internal suit or first envelope that is surrounded by a waterproof suit and then by a tear resistant suit.
APPAREL POWER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
An apparel power system and method of using such system is disclosed. The power system provides a source of electrical energy for electrically powered accessories attached or integrated to apparel worn by the user of a vehicle without requiring the use of wires and plugs connections between the user and the vehicle. The vehicle may be a snowmobile, ATV, UTV, motorcycle, watercraft and the like. The electrical power of the vehicle is transferred from the steering means such as a steering wheel or handlebars to a handwear such as a glove or mitt or a wearable adaptor. Holding of the steering means by the user creates a contact allowing electrical energy transfer from the steering means to the handwear which is subsequently transferred from the handwear to accessories attached or integrated to an item of clothing such as a coat using embedded wires or overlying connection to provide the apparel with the ability to power various accessories such as heated handwear, vest, pants and/or footwear, power visor, visibility lamps, cell phone, and the like.
Thermal device
A thermal device comprising a garment (42A) that may be placed against at least a part of the body (10), the garment (42A) defining at least one enclosed compartment (48, 50) defined between an inner wall (65) and an outer wall (66), and an inlet (21) whereby liquid may be introduced into each such enclosed compartment (48, 50). Each enclosed compartment (48, 50) contains dry material (30) comprising water-soluble chemical compounds that dissolve endothermically or exothermically, and also a compressed sponge (62). There may also be an air bleed valve (64) to bleed any air out of the compartment (48, 50) when water is introduced. The device enables a patient's body to be cooled or heated in emergency, needing only addition of water, and incorporating no toxic or hazardous materials.
COOLING VEST
