Shunt truck positioned trailer stand
A trailer stand positionable by a shunt truck is disclosed. The trailer stand includes a leg assembly having a front pair of legs and a back pair of legs, the front pair of legs connected by a front cross support and the back pair of legs connected by a back cross support, a wheel assembly having a wheel assembly frame that has a first end and a second end, the first end connected to the back pair of legs, the second end retaining an axle, the axle rotatably retaining at least two wheels, a stepped assembly having a front end, a back end, a top, and a bottom, the front end connected to the front cross support, the back end connected to the back cross support, the top of the stepped assembly providing a plurality of landing areas for an end of the semi-trailer, and a lifting frame.
Three connection point farm implement dolly for use with an articulating tractor
A three point connection dolly for connecting an articulating tractor to a plow includes a dolly having a three point plow hitch configured to connect to a plow. The dolly also includes a chassis frame with a tractor hitch extension configured to extend the three point plow hitch a distance from the articulating tractor sufficient to allow rear wheels of the articulating tractor to fully turn.
METHOD FOR CALCULATING CHARACTERISTIC GEOMETRICAL OR CONTROL VARIABLES OF A THREE POINT HITCH
A method is provided for calculating characteristic geometrical or control variables of a three-point hitch for an agricultural tractor in which the hitch includes a lifting strut having a mounting position which is adjustable by means of a lifting arm in one of a plurality of receiving holes formed in a lower link and the hitch is pivotable by the lifting strut. The method includes moving the lower link initially into a horizontal angle position =0 and capturing the corresponding angular position P.sub.x, P.sub.z of the lifting arm and a corresponding angular position of the lifting strut relative to the vertical. The method further includes determining which of the receiving holes satisfies a geometrical constraint condition and determining the mounting position of the lifting strut on the lower link.
Hitch System
In one embodiment, a hitch system, comprising: an upper support structure comprising a first pivot mount at one end of the upper support structure and a second pivot mount at the other end of the upper support structure; a lower structural assembly comprising a base having a third pivot mount at one end of the base and a fourth pivot mount at the other end of the base, the lower structural assembly further comprising first and second lift arms pivotably connected respectively to the third and fourth pivot mounts; and first and second actuators each comprising a retractable member and independently operable, the first actuator pivotably connected at one end of the first actuator to the first pivot mount and pivotably connected at the other end of the first actuator to the first lift arm, the second actuator pivotably connected at one end of the second actuator to the second pivot mount and pivotably connected at the other end of the second actuator to the second lift arm.
Rolling soil probe
A rolling soil probe which may be pulled by a tractor or a truck or mounted on a trailer. The rolling soil probe includes a rotatable square wheel having four sides, each of which has a soil probe extending outwardly therefrom.
Agricultural vehicle combination
An agricultural vehicle combination including an agricultural tractor, which is operated using a main drive unit, and an ancillary drive unit, which is attached removably to the agricultural tractor by a three-point hitch, and which has an auxiliary axle that can be driven by an ancillary unit including at least one of a combustion engine and an electric motor.
