Low profile trolley for a tow saddle
A trolley that couples to a tow saddle is provided. The trolley includes an upper plate and a lower plate. The upper and lower plate are secured against a rear portion of a tow saddle. One or more support bars are coupled to the upper plate. The bars provide structural support for the upper plate and deflect a chain that transits apertures in the upper plate.
Agricultural implement, tow bar device, and towing vehicle/implement combination
Agricultural implement having a tow bar device for towing the implement with a towing vehicle includes an implement part that trails the tow bar device mounted so as to be pivotable about a first pivot axis. The first pivot axis is parallel to a horizontal transverse axis of the implement. The trailing implement part and the tow bar device are coupled by means of at least one first actuator. The tow bar device, by means of the first actuator, is pivotable about the first pivot axis in such a manner that a tilt angle between the tow bar device and the trailing implement part is adjustable.
MECHANICAL COUPLING DEVICE BETWEEN VEHICLES, IN PARTICULAR FOR CONVOYS OF AUTOMATIC VEHICLES
A coupling device of the type envisaged between a first vehicle (A) with at least two axes and a second vehicle (B) with at least two axes with the first vehicle (A) arranged to precede the second vehicle (B), in particular for the application to convoys of automatically guided vehicles, includes a hinge coupling section associated with the first vehicle (A) and a drawbar section associated with the second vehicle (B), connected to each other with the possibility of rotation through the relative distal sections. The drawbar section has an arc-shaped guide arranged horizontally in front of the second vehicle (B) to extend from the right side to the left side thereof, a slider sliding along the arc-shaped guide and a telescopic arm integral with one end of the slider and rotatably connected to the other end to the coupling section. The coupling device also advantageously include a steering assistance mechanism suitable for a redundancy of the steering members (S) of the second vehicle (B) by setting a steering angle which is a function of the position of the slider along the arc-shaped guide. The coupling device allows the automatic guide system to control the position and trajectories of the vehicles without any substantial exchange of forces through the device and enters into operation to allow the safe stop of the convoy when there are anomalies in the operation of the automatic guide system.
Garbage can hitch and garbage can having a built-in hitch
A garbage can hitch includes a base section, and a grab handle coupled to the base section. An attachment arm is coupled to the base section, and attaches to a garbage can. A receptacle is disposed within the base section, and configured to receive a hitch ball of a vehicle. A semi-cylindrical well is disposed within the base section, and configured to receive a handle bar of the garbage can. A garbage can includes a sidewall. The garbage can may include a built-in hitch attached to the sidewall. The built-in hitch includes a base section and a receptacle disposed within the base section. The receptacle receives a hitch ball of the vehicle. The gravity-enhanced configuration provides downward levered pressure on the hitch ball when the garbage can is towed, such that the hitch is kept securely linked to the hitch ball, even when the vehicle drives over bumpy or gravelly roads.
Drawbar Tow Hitch Assembly
A drawbar tow hitch assembly for towing a trailer with a ball hitch using a tractor includes a tube that has a passageway extending for having a drawbar of a tractor extended therethrough. A pin is extendable through the tube to engage the drawbar for attaching the tube to the drawbar. A tow ball is removably attached to the tube to facilitate the tractor to tow a trailer with a ball hitch when the tube is positioned on the drawbar. A plurality of nuts is each attached to the tube. A pair of eyebolts is provided and a respective one of the eyebolts is adjustably attachable to the plurality of nuts to engage a tow point on the tractor.
AGRICULTURAL BALING MACHINES
An agricultural baling machine including: frame; a connection point for attaching to a towing vehicle; a plunger in a bale-forming chamber; a driveline for taking power from the towing vehicle and causing reciprocal rectilinear motion of the plunger in the bale-forming chamber; and a drawbar assembly that provides a mechanical link between the connection point and the frame. The drawbar assembly includes: a lower drawbar member and an upper drawbar member, wherein both members extend in a longitudinal direction of the baling machine from the frame towards the connection point; and wherein the lower drawbar member is spaced apart from the upper drawbar member in a vertical dimension such that one or more components of the driveline are accessible from the side of the baling machine through the drawbar assembly.
Front Tow Extended Saddle
A front tow extended saddle configured for mounting a vehicle to a towing vehicle and a method of towing a vehicle using the front tow extended saddle are provided. The front tow extended saddle includes front, middle, and rear portions, with the front and rear portions extending along different planes. A protective cover extends along the front tow extended saddle and is supported above the wheels of the towing vehicle.
Jack and tow module for towing a trailer with a truck
A lift and tow module for use with a trailer and method of towing a trailer with a truck. The module has an arm having a connection point for securing to a tow vehicle and a lift body having a connection point for securing the lift body to a trailer. The connection point comprises at least two connection mechanisms spaced apart on the main body for connection to corresponding mechanisms on the trailer. A support plate is extendable from and operably supported by the main body and the lift body is movable in reciprocal directions. Mechanical actuators are operably coupled to the body and the arm for controlling respective movement, which allows the module to jack up a trailer, connect to a trailer, and/or tow a trailer.
Recreational Collapsing Tow Bar with Universal Rotational Connection
A recreational collapsing/expanding tow bar for towing a vehicle. The tow bar contains a collapsing/expanding middle part and a pair of attachment ends. The attachment ends include a sleeve, fastener, and bar end. The fastener includes a first end, a second end, a ball, and a shaft. The fastener is secured within the sleeve and retained with the bar end. The fastener can be used in a fixed rigid position or a rotational position. The collapsing/expanding middle part is rigid and adjustable to various distances between the towing and towed vehicle, wherein the device is compact in size and easily stored.
Additional towing connectors are disclosed to engage a snowmobile and motorcycle for being towed.
