DEVICE FOR DISCHARGING MULTI-COMPONENT ADHESIVES ONTO A GRANULAR MIXTURE DISCHARGING METHOD, AND USE OF THE DEVICE
20240082864 · 2024-03-14 · ·

An apparatus for discharging multi-component adhesives of at least two fluidic components onto a granular ballast bed of a railway rail train includes of at least two separate carriages, which can be transferred into a vehicle or a trailer by having the vehicle or the trailer equipped on the inside with rails onto which the carriages can be rolled. The wagons can thus be transported by road to the usage site and can be put into operation by placing them from the trailer onto the tracks of the railway track using extendable rails. The apparatus allows the fully automatic spreading of adhesives over long distances to a ballast bed, so that the ballast bed is bonded in so that trains can continue to run normally. The entire apparatus can be loaded, transported and unloaded on site and put into operation by just two persons.

Dual mode vehicle that operates on both guided rails and unguided roadways

A dual mode vehicle that operates on guided rails and roadways includes a capsule, a carriage, a front left drive system, a front right drive system, a rear left drive system, a rear right drive system, a pod control unit, and at least one battery. The carriage includes a spherical frame-housing and a base. A spherical cabin of the capsule is attitudinally mounted within the spherical frame-housing. The front left drive system, the front right drive system, the rear left drive system, and the rear right drive system each includes a motor, a drive axle, a road wheel, and a rail wheel. The road wheel and the rail wheel are axially mounted to the drive axle. The motor that is mounted to the base is operatively coupled with the drive axle through the at least one battery and the pod control unit to operate a roadway or railway transportation mode.

RAILWAY TRACTION VEHICLE WITH VARIABLE TRACTION
20190359020 · 2019-11-28 ·

Railway traction vehicle with eight traction wheels, provided with two bogies each with a rubber wheel axle with two rubber wheels and a rail wheel axle with two steel rail wheels each pivoting around a swing axle fixed to a supporting framework, whereby the swing axle is positioned asymmetrically on the connecting line between the rail wheel axle and the rubber wheel axle with the ratio between the downward force on the rail wheel axle and the rubber wheel axle being actively controlled by increasing or decreasing the downward force on the rubber wheel axle and decreasing or increasing the downward force on the rail wheel axle.

POWERED MOBILE BASE FOR A CAMERA CRANE
20190337785 · 2019-11-07 ·

A camera crane mobile base for carrying a camera crane includes a first powered remotely controllable steering system having first and second axle assemblies at a first end of a chassis. A second steering system including third and fourth axle assemblies is provided at a second end of the chassis. A first electrically powered remotely controllable propulsion system includes an electric propulsion motor connected to first and second axles in the first and second axle assemblies. A telescoping center post is pivotally attached to the chassis. An on-board hydraulic system may power the first steering system and the telescoping center post.

GUIDE WHEEL OVERLOAD INDICATORS

A novel system for providing for safe operation of railgear, that is, a set of guide wheels that allow road vehicles to travel on railroad tracks, based on the use of overload indicators installed on the suspension arm of each guide wheel to give operators a quick, visual representation of whether or not a guide wheel is overloaded.

RAIL GEAR APPARATUS
20190263205 · 2019-08-29 ·

A rail gear system for attachment to the frame rails of a truck that readily accommodates the span of the frame rails. The system including an axle tube, a pivot tube, first and second spring sub-systems, and a pivot bar with an actuator plate mounted to the pivot bar. Frame rail mounting brackets are secured to the two frame rails of the truck. A primary actuator is employed to elevate the axle tube off of the rails and adjustment of the width of the frame rails is accomplished by movement of the bushings along both the pivot tube and pivot bar until the desired separation between the frame rail mounting brackets is achieved.

MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND CONTROL SYSTEM

A management system according to the present disclosure is a management system that manages a travel plan of a vehicle that is capable of traveling on a road and a railway track, and includes controller that creates the travel plan of the vehicle. In a case where there is a route candidate track that is a railway track that is possibly used as a travel route of the vehicle, the controller acquires a railway operation schedule for the route candidate track, and determines whether the route candidate track can be used as the travel route of the vehicle, based on the operation schedule. In the case where the route candidate track can be used as the travel route of the vehicle, the controller creates a travel plan according to which the vehicle travels along the travel route including the route candidate track.

Road/rail vehicle with tractive weight control

A road/rail vehicle has front and rear road wheels, an engine driving the rear road wheels, and an indicator of actual vehicle speed. Retractable front and rear rail wheels are mounted on the vehicle and movable from a raised road position for operation in a road mode to a lowered rail position where the rail wheels engage rails of a railroad track for operation in a rail mode. A suspension system is adjustable in the rail mode to vary a weight proportion of vehicle weight that is a tractive weight carried by the rear road wheels and a guidance weight carried by the rear rail wheels, and a suspension control is adjusts the suspension system to provide a selected weight proportion. A maximum allowable vehicle speed decreases as the tractive weight increases and a maximum speed indicator shows the maximum allowable vehicle speed for the selected weight proportion.
