Headgear

A headgear device for a user including an integrated face shield, mask and hood. More specifically, the headgear device includes a hood, a face shield, and a moisture barrier fabric to cover the user's mouth when the headgear device is worn and direct air out through a breathable particle filtration fabric.

Protective Device

An air purifying device including means for reducing air resistance between the air filtering elements and the target locations for the purified air. Reduced air resistance lowers the energy consumed by the device, thereby reducing its size and weight as well as improving ease of integration with a variety of head gear.

Head encapsulation unit

A head encapsulation unit is disclosed which filters virus contaminated air. The head encapsulation unit does not require a fitting process since the primary interface between the head encapsulation unit and the user is the user's neck. The head encapsulation unit has an expandable seal that a user can insert his or her head. The seal is then wrapped around and places light pressure against the person's neck so that virus contaminated air that does not enter the inner volume of the head encapsulation unit and infect the user. A cap at the upper portion of the unit and the seal aligns the head encapsulation unit on the user's head. This head encapsulation unit allows for both medical personnel and infected individuals to better and more easily communicate than mouth covered filters, goggles and face shield while offering substantially more mitigation from spreading an infection or being infected.

PPE with rotating assembly providing multiple face covers

A personal protective device (PPE) including a face cover assembly and a bodysuit configured to be worn by a human user. The device protects users against airborne aerosol particles containing viruses or other infectious agents while enabling improved flexibility relative to prior art designs. The device includes a helmet-like” rotating face cover assembly that fits over the user's head and attaches to a collar on the biohazard bodysuit. This rotating face cover assembly has a plurality of different mask sides, each with differing geometries or other properties. The device enables a user to rotate (either manually or by electric motor) the masks and select a given mask side that best meets that user's needs. The different mask sides can accommodate different facial geometries, eyewear types, and use cases, such as operation in more hostile environments. Features to improve user comfort, including alternate bodysuit designs, moisture reduction, and cooling are disclosed.

BREATHING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING SUCH SYSTEMS

In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides a method to process high pressure air into low pressure breathing air for one or more sealing and locking helmets and/or one or more air respirators. Other embodiments include a system configured to perform such a method and a manufacturing process of making such a system. In some embodiments, the breathing system automatically fills a local reserve bottle by pressure equalization. In this regard, the secondary supply bottles will fill the backup bottle when the console module operator (CMO) connects the secondary air supply to the system. The backup bottle will then be isolated from depletion during normal operation by means of a check valve to prevent back flow of the emergency cylinder into the secondary air supply. The local reserve bottle will protect against loss of air on any of the high pressure air hoses.

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT FOR RESPIRATION, PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR RESPIRATION, AND MANAGEMENT METHOD

A protective system for respiration, and a management method facilitates stably supplying filtered air for safety such that the equipment management or the safety management can be performed remotely. The protective equipment includes a main body that covers the face of an operator, a fan unit including an air filter and an electric fan, a detecting section, a first control section, and a first communication section. The detecting section detects a physical quantity concerning at least one of a work environment of the operator, an action state of the operator, and an operation state of the electric fan. The first control section controls the electric fan based on a detection result of the detecting section. The first communication section transmits first information indicating a detection result of the detecting section or second information concerning an operation amount on a control target of the first control section to an external device.

Respirator mask with integrated bone conduction transducer

A system for a bone conduction communication system that includes at least one bone conduction element that is stabilized against a wearer's head when in use. In one embodiment, the bone conduction communication system includes a bone conduction device including at least one bone conduction element and a wearable device, the bone conduction device being coupled to the wearable device, the wearable device stabilizing the at least one bone conduction element in a plurality of axes of support.
