Adapter piece for connecting a damper tube and an air spring piston in a non-positive manner, air spring damper system, and method for producing an air spring damper system
An adapter piece may be employed to connect a damper tube and an air spring piston in a non-positive manner. The adapter piece may comprise a spring region. The adapter piece may also include a first ring region and a second ring region, and the spring region may be positioned between the first ring region and the second ring region. Further, an air spring damper system may utilize the spring region of such an adapter piece to connect a damper tube and an air spring piston in a non-positive connection. The damper tube may include a bulge with a supporting element positioned on the bulge. The adapter piece may lie on the supporting element.

Suspension component for utility vehicles
A suspension component for a vehicle may include a spring section performing a support function for supporting a portion of the vehicle and a shock absorbing section performing a damping function to damp action of the spring section. The spring section may be adjustable to provide adjustable support characteristics and the shock absorbing section is adjustable to provide adjustable damping characteristics. The spring section may be adjustable independent of the shock absorbing section. The spring section of the suspension component may define a gas chamber for holding a quantity of a gas to provide a spring support for the vehicle, and the shock absorbing section of the suspension component may define a fluid chamber to provide damping of movement of the spring section.
Spring-absorber system with variable spring rate
A spring-absorber system for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle includes a suspension spring with a spring constant k.sub.T and an absorber filled with a fluid and mounted in parallel to the suspension spring. The spring-absorber system also includes at least two additional spring modules via which a total spring constant k.sub.G of the spring-absorber system can be varied.

DIFFERENTIAL HYDRAULIC BUFFER
Hydraulic systems and methods for reducing the propagation of flow and/or pressure pulsations within a hydraulic system are described. In one embodiment, a hydraulic system may include a hydraulic device and a differential buffer fluidly connected to the hydraulic device. The differential buffer may include a piston that is exposed to pressure pulsations that propagate along separate flow paths and that are at least partially out of phase with one another. Corresponding displacement of the piston due to the out of phase pulsations may at least partially mitigate propagation of the pulsations within the hydraulic system downstream from the differential buffer.
SYNTHETIC ELASTOMERIC AIR SPRING WITHOUT REINFORCING FIBERS
A spring assembly for a vehicle is provided. The spring assembly may include a piston, and a sleeve with a noncircular cross section, the sleeve made from an unreinforced synthetic elastomeric material and being free of reinforcing fibers. The sleeve is coupled with a plurality of end components and defines a deformable pressure vessel, the deformable pressure vessel supplies a support force, and at least one of the end components is the piston.
Vehicle suspension system
A vehicle suspension system comprising a hydropneumatic strut comprising a fluid interface, where supply of hydraulic fluid to the strut via the fluid interface causes the overall length of the strut to increase, and withdrawal of hydraulic fluid via the fluid interface causes the overall length of the strut to decrease, a first displacement system in fluid communication with the fluid interface, capable of supplying and withdrawing fluid to and from the strut as well as measuring the volume of fluid supplied or withdrawn from the strut, a second displacement system in fluid communication with the fluid interface, and a hydraulic fluid source for selectively supplying or withdrawing hydraulic fluid from the hydropneumatic strut via either of the first or second displacement systems.

Compression sensitive suspension dampening
A spring for a suspension is described. The spring includes: a spring chamber divided into at least a primary portion and a secondary portion, and a fluid flow path coupled with and between the primary portion and the secondary portion. The fluid flow path includes a bypass mechanism, wherein the bypass mechanism is configured for automatically providing resistance within the fluid flow path in response to a compressed condition of the suspension.
