Active roll control apparatus
An active roll control apparatus is provided. To adjust a stiffness value of the stabilizer bar by moving a stabilizer bar installed between left and right wheels of a vehicle and extending in a first direction and a stabilizer link connected to the stabilizer bar, the active roll control apparatus includes a sliding part having one side connected to the stabilizer bar and the other side connected to the stabilizer link to slide the stabilizer link in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and a movement restricting part installed at the sliding part to restrict movement when the sliding part slides.
Multi-Link Axle For A Motor Vehicle
A motor vehicle multi-link axle having wheel suspension including a lower transverse link and an upper transverse link. A leaf spring extending transversely to a direction of travel of the vehicle and below the upper transverse link. A link element connects an end of the leaf spring to the upper transverse link. The link element having a first connection, connected to the upper transverse link, and a second connection, connected to the leaf spring. The link element adjustable to vary the distance between the first connection and the second connection. The multi-link axle may also include a connecting element that connects the second connection point of the link element to a connection point of the leaf spring, with the connecting adjustable to vary the distance between the second connection point of the link element and the connection point of the connecting element to the leaf spring.
Vehicle Leaf Spring Assembly
A leaf spring assembly for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle including a leaf spring resiliently supporting of a wheel carrier on a vehicle body of the motor vehicle. The leaf spring has a first end portion, and a diametrically or longitudinally, opposite second end portion fastened, pivotably mounted, to the vehicle. The leaf spring includes a suspension portion extending between the two end portions. The leaf spring includes two spring leaves held pressed one against the other by a first clamp in the suspension portion and are held pressed one against the other by a second clamp distanced or longitudinally spaced from the first clamp. The position of the second clamp, its position on the leaf spring, is variable in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the leaf spring.
TRANSVERSE LEAF SPRING ARRANGEMENT OF A CHASSIS AXLE OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A transverse leaf spring arrangement of a chassis axle of a motor vehicle having a transverse leaf spring which is mounted via two outer bearing members on, in each case, one wheel support and via two central bearing members on a vehicle body. The central bearing members have, in each case, one torque generation apparatus, the torque directions of which run parallel to a longitudinal axis of the motor vehicle. The torque generation apparatus capable of generating a torque which is variable at least in a manner which is dependent on a deflection at the outer bearing members.
The outer bearing members, in each case, have an actuator device, which actuator devices act on the respective outer bearing member in such a way that it can be adjusted at least in the direction of the vertical axis of the motor vehicle. The actuator devices are configured in such a way that a respective outer bearing point can be set in the direction of the transverse axis of the motor vehicle.
The central bearing members, in each case, have an actuator device, which actuator devices act on a bearing shell of the respective central bearing member in such a way that a bearing point can be adjusted in the direction of the vertical axis and/or transverse axis of the motor vehicle. The actuator device is configured in such a way that, in the case of a stationary bearing shell, an adjustment of the bearing point is possible in the direction of the vertical axis and/or transverse axis of the motor vehicle.
System for raising and lowering vehicle
An apparatus is provided for raising and lowering a vehicle that is supported by a wheel suspended from a frame of the vehicle by a suspension component. The apparatus includes a linear actuator that is vertically oriented to move the wheel of the vehicle relative to the frame of the vehicle. A compression device is arranged to compress the suspension component of the vehicle in response to movement of the wheel by the linear actuator.
EXTENDABLE RETRACTABLE PIVOTING SHACKLE ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a variable length shackle assembly that includes a first frame member that includes a vehicle frame mount and a rail support and a second frame member that includes a leaf spring mount and a guide rail that cooperates with the rail support to permit the first frame member to move linearly relative to the second frame member while resisting non-linear movement and a biasing member such as a spring that connects that first frame member to the second frame member.
VARIABLE RATE FLAT SPRING ARRANGEMENT
A suspension system for a vehicle includes a first chassis rail and a second chassis rail, each extending longitudinally in an axial direction of the vehicle. Also included is a first leaf spring element extending longitudinally in the axial direction of the vehicle, the first leaf spring element operatively coupled proximate ends thereof to the first chassis rail and at an intermediate location to an axle assembly of the vehicle. Further included is a second leaf spring element extending longitudinally in the axial direction of the vehicle, the second leaf spring element operatively coupled proximate ends thereof to the second chassis rail and at an intermediate location to the axle assembly of the vehicle. Yet further included is at least one leaf spring extending in a transverse direction of the vehicle, the at least one leaf spring having a spring rate that is actively variable.
