VEHICLE SUSPENSION DAMPER
A vehicle suspension damper for providing a variable damping rate. The vehicle suspension damper comprises a first damping mechanism having a variable first threshold pressure, a second damping mechanism having a second threshold pressure, and a compressible chamber in communication with a damping fluid chamber, wherein the second damping mechanism is responsive to a compression of said compressible chamber.
All-terrain vehicle and its suspension
The invention relates to design of all-terrain vehicles. The vehicle comprises a gas line which is connected to all of the wheel tires simultaneously and is coupled to a system for inflating the tires. A suspension comprises a wheel springing system connected to the wheel tires, a pneumatic drive and a system for inflating the tires, wherein the wheel springing system is configured in the form of an gas line formed from the cavities of the pipes from which a frame is welded, or is configured outside the frame, forming a closed loop that is connected to each of the tires by means of pipes with closure members, and wherein the pneumatic drive and the system for inflating the tires are constituted by an engine exhaust system which is provided with a baffle and is coupled to the air line by means of a pipe with a closure member.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
Provided is a suspension system capable of expanding one of an oil chamber and a gas chamber of an intermediate unit and contracting the other when a damper compresses or expands without generating friction in the intermediate unit. An intermediate unit includes an intermediate case having an intermediate oil chamber connected to an oil chamber of a right damper and the oil chamber of a left damper and an intermediate gas chamber, and a diaphragm made of a flexible material, which partitions the intermediate oil chamber and the intermediate gas chamber.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM AND VEHICLE
In a suspension system in which the oil chambers of two dampers are connected, the responsiveness of the dampers can be adjusted. A suspension system has a left damper, a right damper, and an intermediate unit. A case of the intermediate unit has an intermediate oil chamber connected to an oil chamber of the left damper and the oil chamber of the right damper and an intermediate gas chamber. The intermediate oil chamber and the intermediate gas chamber are partitioned by a diaphragm. The intermediate unit has a capacity adjustment mechanism including a movable portion of which the position can be changed. The capacity adjustment mechanism adjusts the capacity of the intermediate gas chamber by changing the position of the movable portion.
AXLE ASSEMBLY FOR A HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE AND HEAVY DUTY-VEHICLE HAVING AT LEAST ONE SUCH AXLE ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to an axle assembly and a heavy-duty vehicle having such an axle assembly, which comprises a pivot bearing having a substantially vertically extending steering axis of rotation, a bogie rotatably arranged about the steering axis of rotation, a rocker mounted on the bogie so as to be pivotable about a substantially horizontal pivot axis, a wheel carrier operatively connected to the rocker having at least one wheel rotatably mounted thereon about a wheel axis of rotation, the wheel axis of rotation extending substantially horizontally and, when driving straight ahead, substantially transversely to the direction of travel, and a pneumatically actuatable power device, which is arranged between the rocker and the bogie.
Air suspension system
In an air suspension system, starting of a compressor is facilitated in a condition in which there exists a pressure difference. There is provided an air suspension system in which air compressed by a compressor is supplied to a plurality of air chambers provided between a vehicle body side and a wheel side and configured to perform vehicle height adjustment in accordance with the supply and discharge of air. The compressor has a needle connected to a piston and extending in a moving direction of the piston, and an armature reciprocating the needle in the moving direction of the piston.
