Suspension arrangement
A suspension arrangement for a bogie beam for a vehicle includes a connector having an arrangement for pivotally connecting the connector to a vehicle main body for pivoting around a substantially horizontal bogie pivot axis. The suspension arrangement includes a resilient arrangement for connecting the connector and the bogie beam to each other.
MONOLITHIC SUSPENSION MODULE
A vehicle suspension system includes a suspension arm connected to a vehicle frame or body. A wheel is supported by the suspension arm and a shock absorber is connected between the vehicle frame or body and the suspension arm. The shock absorber includes a first mounting fitting having a first connecting structure, a second mounting fitting having a second connecting structure and a monolithic elastomeric body molded around the first connecting structure and the second connecting structure.

GAS SPRING AND GAS DAMPER ASSEMBLIES AS WELL AS SUSPENSION SYSTEMS AND METHODS INCLUDING THE SAME
Gas spring and gas damper assemblies include a flexible spring member. First and second end members are secured to opposing ends of the flexible spring member to form a spring chamber. The second end member includes an end member wall that at least partially defines a damping chamber within the second end member. A damper piston assembly includes a damper piston and an elongated damper rod. The damper piston separates the piston chamber into first and second chamber portions. A pneumatically-actuated control device is disposed in fluid communication with one of the first and second chamber portions. The control device is selectively operable to alter the functionality of the gas spring and gas damper assembly between spring and damper functionality and actuator functionality. Suspension systems including one or more of such gas spring and gas damper assemblies as well as methods of operation are also included.
Hydraulically-adjustable elastomeric vehicle suspension system
A suspension system for a vehicle includes an extendable and retractable actuator disposed at each side of a frame of the vehicle and pivotally attached at one end to a vehicle bracket and at the other end to a suspension bracket. The suspension bracket includes an actuator portion, an axle portion and a suspension arm, with the actuator portion and the suspension arm pivotable relative to an axis of the axle portion. When the actuator is extended or retracted, the actuator portion pivots about the axis of the axle portion and imparts pivotal movement of a suspension arm about the axis to adjust a height of the frame of the vehicle. The actuator includes an elastomeric element disposed between an outer end of a slide rod and an outer end of a ram rod, with the slide rod movable to absorb sudden movements of the frame or wheel.
MULTI-PLATE SPRING SUSPENSION OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL FOR VEHICLE
A multi-plate spring suspension of composite material for a vehicle includes: a first bracket unit mounted to a rubber spring; a second bracket unit mounted to a trunnion base; and a plurality of composite springs manufactured by impregnating reinforcing fibers with resin, coupled to the first bracket unit and the second bracket unit at opposite ends thereof, respectively, and being vertically spaced apart from each other.
Bushing for use in a vehicle suspension
A bushing includes a body that is cylindrical; a bore through the body; a channel extending along an inner face of the bore; and a groove on a substantially planar surface of the bushing and including a first end intersecting with an end of the channel and a second end extending radially from the bore.

The suspension unit including suspension elements providing a spring-back force in the vertical direction and producing an active connection between the chassis and the axle when the distance between the chassis and axle exceeds a predetermined first deflection depth.

A lubrication system includes a coupling; a bushing in the coupling; a lubricant inlet to the coupling; a flat surface against a front surface of the bushing; and a path for lubricant to flow from the lubricant inlet to a groove on the front surface of the bushing and out between the flat surface and the front surface to lubricate an interface between the flat surface and the front surface.
