The cylindrical member has, at its outer peripheral surface, an engagement projection that is engaged with an engagement hole. Relative movement of the upper spring sheet and the lower case in an axial direction and in a circumferential direction is restricted in a state where the engagement projection is engaged with the engagement hole.

Mounting assembly dimensioned for securement between a vehicle structure and a gas spring and damper assembly include a first end plate securable to the vehicle structure. A connector housing is disposed within the mounting cavity and operatively connectable to the gas spring and damper assembly.
