Generally, a suspension system for a wheel of a vehicle is disclosed. The system may include at least one pair of arms each including a first arm and a second arm. Each of the first arm and the second arm of the at least one pair of arms may have a first end adapted to be rotatably connected to a wheel interface and a second end adapted to be rotatably connected to a reference frame of the vehicle, while the first arm and the second arm may be set across each other and define a mobile steering axis at a virtual intersection therebetween such that the mobile steering axis moves with respect to the reference frame when the wheel interface changes its steering angle relative to the reference frame.

The centre part is arranged between the first suspension spring and the second suspension spring, and between the first damper and the second damper. The centre part is movably arranged in a transverse direction. The centre part, when moving in the transverse direction upon activation from the first wheel and/or the second wheel, is configured for impacting the stiffness of the first suspension spring and/or the second suspension spring.

The actuator comprises at least two work chambers which are filled with a hydraulic medium and coupled to each other by a fluid-conducting connection, and the actuator comprises a transmission unit which is designed such that a rotational movement of the stabilizer halves can be converted into a translational movement of an intermediate element arranged between the two work chambers, and a volume flow of the hydraulic medium from the one work chamber into the other work chamber can thus be produced.

The target load calculation part is further configured to calculate a third target load related to virtual spring force control based on a stroke position and to calculate a combined target load into which the first target load, the second target load, and the third target load have been combined. The load control part performs load control of the actuator using the combined target load.
