DEPLOYABLE QUAD VEHICLE
The disclosure provides an electric quad vehicle, a control system, and method of operation. The electric quad vehicle may include a central hub and four legs, each pivotably mounted to the central hub, each leg including an electric motor rotatably coupled to a wheel. Each leg may include a joint allowing the leg to bend to a retracted state with the wheel adjacent the central hub. The electric quad vehicle may include handle bars extending from the central hub including rider controls of acceleration and steering. The electric quad vehicle may include a control system configured to translate rider input to the rider controls into control signals for each of the electric motors.
Machine suspension and height adjustment
A machine includes a chassis, a plurality of ground engaging elements supporting the chassis above a ground surface, a motor for driving at least one of the ground engaging elements and a plurality of assemblies supporting the chassis on the ground engaging elements. Each of the assemblies is configured to selectively raise and lower the chassis relative to the ground surface and includes a first attachment component for attaching the assembly to one of the ground engaging elements, a second attachment component for attaching the assembly to the chassis, an adjustment component for shifting the first attachment component between a plurality of operating positions relative to the second attachment component. A control system allows an operator to remotely control the adjustment components of each of the assemblies.
Forecarriage of a rolling motor vehicle
A forecarriage (8) of a rolling motor vehicle (4), comprising a forecarriage frame (16), at least a pair of front wheels (10), each wheel (10) being connected to a rolling kinematic mechanism (20), which enables the front wheels (10) to roll in a synchronous and specular manner, by means of a respective axle journal (60), and a roll block system (100) comprising a rod extensible in length (110) which directly connects one of the two front wheels (10) at the respective axle journal (60) to said forecarriage frame (16) by means of hinging means (71, 72, 73) at both its ends, and means (120) to reversibly block the lying position of said rod extensible in length (110) on a rolling plane with respect to said axle journal (60) and to said forecarriage frame (16), so as to block the rolling movements allowed by said rolling kinematic mechanism (20).
Active suspension system with electropermanent magnets
A stability control system that detects a change in a vehicle operating characteristic and sends a stabilizing command to an actuator system based on identifying the change is described. The actuator system applies a first magnetic field having a predetermined strength to an electropermanent magnet for a predetermined duration based on receiving the stabilizing command. The first magnetic field transitions the electropermanent magnet from a first state to a second state. The electropermanent magnet generates a second magnetic field in the second state. The second magnetic field modifies at least one of a spring constant or a mechanical resistance of a suspension component within a suspension system of the vehicle, and the electropermanent magnet retains the second state after the predetermined duration in absence of the first magnetic field.
STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM
Embodiments of a suspension for a vehicle is provided. The suspension includes, for example, a frame and a locking assembly. The locking assembly inhibits tipping of a frame of the vehicle when tipping of the frame is detected.
STARTING DEVICE FOR A MOTORCYCLE
According to an aspect of the disclosed embodiments, an apparatus for a motorcycle includes a first component having a pair of arms configured to be coupled to an inner shaft of a suspension fork. A locking plate is coupled to the pair of arms. A second component includes a housing configured to be coupled to a telescopic outer shaft of the suspension fork. The housing extends along a first longitudinal axis. A pin is configured to rotate about a second longitudinal axis extending transverse to the first longitudinal axis relative to the housing. The pin has a tip configured to engage the locking plate of the first component.
Coupling device for a vehicle suspension
The disclosure relates to a coupling device for a stabilizer of a suspension. The coupling device has a first coupling portion and a second coupling portion that is supported thereon. One coupling portion has a connection location for the stabilizer and another coupling portion has a connection location for a wheel suspension. and the coupling device also has a locking device, which, in a locking position, limits a relative movement of the second coupling portion with respect to the first coupling portion in a first direction. In order to better protect a stabilizer from overload, the locking device is configured in a release position to release the relative movement when a first force acting between the connection locations exceeds a threshold value.
HYDRAULIC DROP FRAME TRAILER
A hydraulic drop frame trailer for a tow vehicle, the hydraulic drop frame trailer including a trailer frame having two sides and a hitch, a pair of wheels, a first and second frame bracket, a trailer bed mounted over the trailer frame, a first and second pivoting hydraulic cylinder, a plurality of hydraulic hoses, a first and second pivoting arm, an operating station connected to a power supply, a first and second axle-less wheel mount with independent suspension mechanism mounted to the first and second pivoting arm, and a plurality of safety locks, each securing an arm to the trailer frame for locking each rotating arm to the trailer bed during transport.
SUSPENSION CONTROL DEVICE FOR A HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
A suspension control device is provided for a human-powered vehicle. The suspension control device includes a sensor and an electronic controller. The sensor is configured to detect information relating to a ground contact condition. The electronic controller is configured to selectively control a suspension of the human-powered vehicle in accordance with the information detected by the sensor.
Stability control system
Embodiments of a suspension for a vehicle is provided. The suspension includes, for example, a frame and a locking assembly. The locking assembly inhibits tipping of a frame of the vehicle when tipping of the frame is detected.
