Wheel suspension for a motor vehicle
A wheel suspension (1) for a motor vehicle that has a wheel carrier (2) for holding a wheel (3), a wheel-guiding control arm (4) for the articulated connection of the wheel carrier (2) to a body (6), and steering member (8) for steering the wheel (3). The wheel carrier (2) and the wheel-guiding control arm (4) are directly connected, in a first connection area (20), and indirectly connected, in a second connection area (21), by an integral link (5) so that, relative to the wheel-guiding control arm (4), the wheel carrier (2) can pivot about a steering axis. The wheel suspension is characterized by a chassis element (12) that is articulated on a body side and is directly connected to the wheel carrier (2).
Wheel suspension and swing arm for a wheel driven by an electrical or pneumatic motor
A wheel suspension (1) for a wheel (23) of a vehicle, in particular the rear wheel of a utility vehicle, driven by an electric or pneumatic motor (2), having a swing arm (3) which is mounted pivotably around a pivot axis (7) on the vehicle in a first region (4) and is supported on the vehicle in a second region (8), wherein a third region (10) of the swing arm (3) carries a part of the motor (2) which is rotationally fixed in relation to the swing arm (3) in order to transmit a torque to the wheel using a rotating part of the motor (2).
Motor-vehicle wheel support unit having a reconfigurable modular structure
A motor-vehicle wheel support unit includes a first base body provided with attachments for connection to arms of a motor-vehicle suspension, and a second body for rotatably supporting a wheel hub, which is separate with respect to the first base body and is secured to the first base body in one of two different selectable mounting positions, which correspond to two different vertical positions, with reference to a condition of use, of an axis of the wheel hub with respect to the first base body. In this manner, a height of the vehicle from the ground can be modified by simply mounting said second body on the first body in one or the other of the two mounting positions. In each of the two mounting positions, the second body is rotated by 180° around an axis parallel to the wheel hub axis with respect to the other mounting position.
Drive system of an electric vehicle
A drive system of an electric vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle has an arrangement optimized for characteristics of a hydrogen electric truck so as to ensure an available space inside vehicle body frames, thereby allowing a battery, high-voltage electric parts, a hydrogen tank, and the like to be arranged inside the vehicle body frames and increasing space utilization in the vehicle. The drive system includes a motor configured to drive the vehicle, a reducer or a transmission connected to an output side of the motor so as to change a rotational speed of the motor, and a rear axle configured to transmit rotating power output from the reducer or the transmission to vehicle wheels. The motor and the reducer or the transmission together with the rear axle are mounted on a suspension.
Bushing and a kit for assembling a bushing
The disclosed bushing assembly has a housing with a central bore for receiving a bushing sleeve that is dimensioned to fit a predetermined sway bar. The housing and sleeve have various combinations of mating projections and recesses that secure the sleeve in the housing. A bushing kit has a plurality of sleeves that are dimensioned to fit different predetermined sway bars and an appropriate sleeve can be selected at the time of installation. The housing and the sleeve are flexible.
TANDEM WHEEL ASSEMBLY AND TANDEM WHEEL KIT
A tandem wheel assembly or kit has a housing that includes a central chain box, a first wheel end casing, and a second wheel end casing. The central chain box has an internal volume extending between a first box end and a second box end, a unitary pivot portion having a box opening disposed about a pivot axis, a first box flange with a first box flange face and a second box flange with a second box flange face. The first wheel end casing has a first wheel end flange with a first wheel end flange face mateable with the first box flange face, a first wheel end opening, and defines a first length. The second wheel end casing has a second wheel end flange with a second wheel end flange face mateable with the second box flange face, a second wheel end opening, and defines a second length.
MULTI-POINT LINK FOR A CHASSIS OF A MOTOR VEHICLE
A multi-point link for a chassis of a motor vehicle. The multi-point link has at least one hollow profile portion including fiber-reinforced plastic and at least one load introduction element including a metallic material. The hollow profile portion, when viewed in cross section, has at least one hollow space formed as a circumferentially closed chamber. The hollow profile portion and the load introduction element are connected to one another in a common connection portion via a nondetachable glued plug-in connection. At least one stiffening element, which is fixedly connected to the hollow profile portion, is arranged in the chamber to increase the stiffness of the multi-point link.
Motor vehicle control arm, and method for producing a motor vehicle control arm
The disclosure relates to a motor vehicle control arm, like a wishbone, having an integral main body configured in a materially integral manner. A first bearing receptacle is connected to the main body. The main body has a first end portion having a second bearing receptacle, and a second end portion having a third bearing receptacle. The main body comprises a central portion. Said central portion connects the first and the second end portion. The central portion is configured as a cavity profile. The second and the third bearing receptacle are configured integrally and in a materially integral manner from the main body.
Mobile Drive Unit Having A Split Chassis
A mobile drive unit includes a pivot between the front chassis unit and the rear chassis unit, thereby diminishing the total height of the unit.
MODULAR ELECTRONIC DAMPING CONTROL
A modular electronic damping control system is described and includes a damping component located at a vehicle suspension location. The modular electronic damping control system also includes a control system configured to control the damping component, and determine the type of damping component present. Also, the control system is configured to automatically tune a vehicle's suspension based on the type of damping component present, and automatically monitor the damping component and determine when a change has been made to the damping component so that the control system can then automatically re-tune the vehicle's suspension based on the change to the damping component.
