Sub frame structure of vehicle
A sub frame structure of a vehicle comprises a pair of right-and-left side members extending in a vehicle longitudinal direction, to which a pair of right-and-left upper-side lower arm supporting rear wheels are pivotally connected, a rear cross member holding the vicinity of rear ends of the side members, and a front cross member interconnecting the side members in a vehicle width direction and being positioned in front of the rear cross member, being spaced apart from the rear cross member. The side member includes a front support bracket and a rear member holding member to which a front connection portion and a rear connection portion of the upper-side lower arm are connected, and a displacement portion to cause the rear member holding member to be displaced forward is provided between the front support bracket and the rear member holding member.
Air intake system for a vehicle
A utility vehicle is disclosed. The utility vehicle may include storage areas under the dash. The utility vehicle may include suspension systems for utility vehicles having shocks with both a fluidic stiffness adjustment and a mechanical stiffness adjustment. The utility vehicle may include an electrical power steering.
Wheel suspension system with off-wheel-center arm
A wheel suspension system can include a wheel interface having a wheel interface axis about which a wheel rotates when connected to the wheel interface, and an arm connected to the wheel interface and rotatable with respect to the wheel interface about a first axis, wherein the arm is connectable to a reference frame and rotatable with respect to the reference frame about a second axis. In some embodiments, the first axis and the second axis are offset with respect to the wheel interface axis. In some embodiments, the first axis and the second axis are off-parallel.
Air ride suspension adapter assemblies
An air ride suspension assembly or kit is provided for converting a leaf spring suspension arrangement on a motor vehicle having a solid rear axle to one supported by an air ride suspension assembly is disclosed in order to leverage the benefits of such air ride suspension systems to the conversion suspension assembly is disclosed. A leaf spring is removed and replaced with an upper support arm which is secured to the pre-existing leaf spring attachment sites on the chassis. A mount is then attached to the rear solid axle to which multiple connections are made from the upper support arm including an air bladder. The air ride conversion system can be supplied as a kit for installation by owners of vehicles where they routinely move heavy loads directly with the vehicle or by towing.
Subframe for a vehicle, in particular an electric vehicle
The invention relates to a subframe, in particular front axle subframe, for a vehicle, in particular electric vehicle, having a first shell element and a second shell element which is rigidly connected to the first shell element and defines a cavity therewith. At least one of the shell elements has a side wall which, as an outer wall of the subframe, is connected to the other shell element or to another of the shell elements in a materially bonded manner having at least one bushing-like or sleeve-like spacer element for the insertion of a fastening bolt, preferably a screw bolt, for connecting to a body or component. The spacer element is arranged at one of its ends at a through-hole of the first shell element and extending inside the cavity in the direction of a through-hole of the second shell element. In order for the subframe to provide greater stability, in particular improved safety against failure of weld seams at the body connection and/or component connection, e.g. transverse bridge connection, with less or only slightly increased weight, the invention provides that the side wall of the shell element has at least one tab which is welded to the spacer element. This allows at least one additional load path to be implemented in a direction parallel to the longitudinal center axis of the spacer element.
Methods and apparatus for moving the front wheels of a vehicle forward
The present invention provides embodiments of modified upper and lower control arms for attachment to the steering knuckle that came with the vehicle, or for attachment to a modified steering knuckle of an embodiment of the invention, such that the steering knuckle, and in particular the wheel hub opening of the steering knuckle, are located at positions that are closer to the front of the vehicle than the positions provided by the control arms that came with the vehicle. The forward position of the wheel hub relative to the position provided by the factory or stock control arms moves the wheel and tire forward by the same distance, thereby allowing much larger wheels and tires to be mounted on the vehicle which do not rub against or interfere with the wheel well, fender or body mount, thereby increasing the approach angle of the vehicle for use in off-road climbing.
Damping arrangement for an axle of a motor vehicle and motor vehicle
A damping arrangement of an active chassis for an axle of a motor vehicle. A damping system cooperates with each wheel of the axle, wherein each of the damping systems includes a damper, a hydraulic pump, and an electric motor. A hydraulic unit includes a hydraulic reservoir and valves, wherein the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic unit of the respective damping system cooperate with hydraulic chambers of the hydraulic cylinder of the respective damping system, such that, depending on the conveying direction of the hydraulic pump of the hydraulic unit, a movement of the piston in a first actuation direction or in a second actuation direction can be provided. The hydraulic pumps and the electric motors of both damping systems are combined to form a motor-pump unit. The motor-pump unit is fastened on both sides thereof to an axle carrier of the axle via two bearings.
WORKING VEHICLE
A working vehicle includes a machine body frame to which an engine is fixed, a front axle case that supports an axle of a front wheel and is rockable about a rocking shaft, a suspension device that absorbs vibration transmitted from the front axle case to the machine body frame, and a support member that is fixed to the machine body frame so as to be located below the engine, supports the rocking shaft, and defines a routing space in which a linear member (first hose, second hose extending in a front-rear direction can be routed between the support member and the engine.
