The vehicle attitude control device generates target yaw moment on the basis of the deviation between a standard yaw rate and an actual yaw rate and is applied to a vehicle driven with the target yaw moment. The vehicle attitude control device is provided with a detection speed processor that performs a process such that a vehicle speed gently changes, a limit yaw rate calculator that determines a limit yaw rate by dividing lateral acceleration by the processed vehicle speed, and a standard yaw rate corrector that corrects the standard yaw rate using the limit yaw rate when the standard yaw rate is higher than the limit yaw rate. A target yaw moment calculator generates target yaw moment on the basis of the deviation between the standard yaw rate corrected by the standard yaw rate corrector and the actual yaw rate.

A method for checking the plausibility of a lateral acceleration and further input variables of a transmission shifting program includes measuring, over a defined route section, a lateral acceleration signal, calculating a mean value of the measured lateral acceleration signal, and calculating, based on the further input variables, a plurality of n2 different lateral acceleration sensor reference variables. The different lateral acceleration sensor reference variables are calculated by a lateral acceleration reference model for the defined route section. The method further includes determining, for each respective lateral acceleration sensor reference variable, a respective mean value of a calculated lateral acceleration, determining deviations of the mean value of the measured lateral acceleration and the mean values of the calculated lateral accelerations, and evaluating, based on a magnitude of the deviations, whether or not the measured lateral acceleration and the further input variables are plausible.

Suspension system with incremental roll and pitch stiffness control
A suspension system and associated control methods that reduce temperature related fluctuations in the internal pressures and stiffness of the suspension system. A manifold assembly is connected in fluid communication with a plurality of dampers via hydraulic circuits and a pump assembly via a pump hydraulic line. Onboard sensors generate real-time data regarding the vehicle. A suspension control unit, arranged in electronic communication with the aforementioned components, monitors the real-time data, sets a target stiffness and a target pressure, calculates an effective stiffness based on the real-time data, determines if the effective stiffness is above or below the target stiffness and sets a new target pressure accordingly by making stepwise decreases or increases until the new target pressure is reached.
Method and system for active roll control
A system for active roll control for a vehicle body is provided and includes a sensor operable to monitor a tilt of the body and a suspension system. The suspension system includes an active sway bar including a first bar portion, a second bar portion, and an active roll control motor disposed between the first bar portion and the second bar portion. The active roll control motor is operable to turn the first bar portion in relation to the second bar portion. The system further includes a computerized active roll control controller which is operative to monitor a driving mode including one of straight-line driving and rounding a curve on a road, monitor an output of the sensor, determine a desired roll moment based upon the driving mode and the output of the sensor, and control the active roll control motor based upon the desired roll moment.

The vehicle motion state estimation apparatus in a vehicle, in which wheels and a vehicle body are coupled via a suspension, includes a bounce motion estimation unit that estimates and outputs a state quantity of a bounce motion of the vehicle based on traveling state information of the vehicle, and a correction value estimation unit that calculates a correction value to correct an output the bounce motion estimation unit. The correction value estimation unit calculates the correction value in consideration of a non-linear characteristic of the suspension.
