SUSPENSION CONTROL DEVICE AND SUSPENSION DEVICE
A technology can be realized which increases the sense of unity with a vehicle that is felt by a driver. A suspension control device, which controls the damping force of the suspension of a vehicle, comprises a target control amount calculation unit which sets a target control amount, that is referenced when controlling the damping force of the suspension, such that the period of the phase of the roll angle and the period of the phase of the pitch angle of the vehicle approach a synchronized state, such that the magnitude of the expansion-side damping force is greater than the magnitude of the contraction-side damping force on the front-wheel-side of the vehicle, and such that the contraction-side damping force is greater than or equal to the expansion-side damping force on the rear-wheel-side of the vehicle.
Control device, and suspension system
A control device is configured to control a damping force of a damping device using a difference between a front-rear acceleration of a vehicle main body and a rotational acceleration of a vehicle wheel, the damping device being configured to dampen a force generated between the vehicle main body and the vehicle wheel.
VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A control device controls a vehicle including a seat suspension which is provided between a chassis and a seat of the vehicle and restricts vibration and of which each of a spring constant and a damping coefficient is changeable and controllable. The control device detects, as vehicle information, a vehicle speed, an acceleration, a state of acceleration operation by a driver, a state of deceleration operation by the driver, and a state of steering by the driver. The control device determines, based on the vehicle information, whether the driver has driving preference of emphasizing the steering stability performance of the vehicle or driving preference of emphasizing the ride comfort performance of the vehicle, and, according to the determined driving preference, changes an acceleration of the seat by controlling the seat suspension.
VEHICLE WITH SUSPENSION-CONTROLLED MOTION RESISTANCE MEMBERS
A vehicle with suspension-controlled motion resistance members is provided. The vehicle includes a body and a chassis coupled to a base of the body. The vehicle further includes a motion resistance member that is coupled to a base surface of the chassis, a wheel assembly coupled to the chassis, and a suspension unit coupled to the wheel assembly and the chassis. In an actuated state, the suspension unit is configured to move the chassis in a first direction until at least a portion of the motion resistance member contacts a ground below the base surface of the chassis.
Vehicle, vehicle motion state estimation apparatus, and method for estimating vehicle motion state
Provided are a vehicle, a vehicle motion state estimation apparatus, and a method for estimating a vehicle motion state capable of highly accurately estimating a state quantity of a bounce motion of a vehicle having a non-linear suspension characteristic. The vehicle motion state estimation apparatus in a vehicle, in which wheels and a vehicle body are coupled via a suspension, includes a bounce motion estimation unit that estimates and outputs a state quantity of a bounce motion of the vehicle based on traveling state information of the vehicle, and a correction value estimation unit that calculates a correction value to correct an output the bounce motion estimation unit. The correction value estimation unit calculates the correction value in consideration of a non-linear characteristic of the suspension.
ELECTRO-DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLED LEVELING SYSTEM
An electro-dynamically controlled leveling system having a plurality of air springs mounted on at least one axle of a vehicle for supporting the weight of the vehicle; one or more electro-pneumatic valves; and one or more sensors that monitor one or more characteristics of the vehicle and transmit the one or more characteristics as a sensory input. The electro-dynamically controlled leveling system includes a central control module in electrical communication with the one or more sensors and the one or more electro-pneumatic valves. The central control module receives the sensory input from the one or more sensors, calculates a dynamic condition of the vehicle based on the sensory input, determines a desired air pressure for each air spring based on the calculated dynamic conditions of the vehicle, and transmit a command to the electro-pneumatic valves to adjust the air pressure of the air springs.
Active control system for vehicle suspensions
An active control system for vehicle suspensions includes a detection module which detects a vehicle running state and a front road condition by means of an advanced mode or a standard mode; a calculation module which comprehensively calculates, in combination with running data and dimensions of a vehicle and the front road condition data collected by the detection module and according to passenger comfort requirements, target data of adjustment; and an implementation module which adjusts a height of each suspension of the vehicle according to the target data obtained by the calculation module.
STABILIZER CONTROL DEVICE
Left and right stabilizer bars are provided between left and right wheels of a vehicle. A control unit controls an actuator to control a rotation angle of the right stabilizer bar with respect to the left stabilizer bar. The control unit determines whether the vehicle is moving, whether a vehicle speed is less than a first threshold value, and whether a vehicle state is in transition from a moving state to a stopped state. A detection unit detects a control amount of the actuator. When the vehicle is moving, the vehicle speed is less than the first threshold value, the vehicle state is in transition from the moving state to the stopped state, and the control amount of the actuator is greater than zero, the control unit decreases the control amount of the actuator such that the control amount of the actuator becomes zero before the vehicle speed becomes zero.
Suspension controlling apparatus for vehicle
In a suspension controlling apparatus for a vehicle including a suspension whose damping force is variably settable and a control unit capable of controlling the damping force of the suspension, for appropriately obtaining a pitch behavior. When a vibration state of a vehicle in a vertical direction exceeds a given vibration state, a control unit controls damping force of suspensions on the basis of a target damping force in order to execute a skyhook control. However, when acceleration in a forward and rearward direction of the vehicle is outside a given range, a decision condition for the given vibration state is changed to a condition on the side on which the skyhook controlling damping force control of the suspensions is less likely to be started.
SUSPENSION SYSTEM
To improve off-road travel performance, ECU is configured to: set one of front left and right wheels and rear left and right wheels as roll stiffness decrease subject wheels and set another as non-roll stiffness decrease subject wheels; bring a spring switching valve and a leveling valve into an open state for each of the roll stiffness decrease subject wheels, causing left and right hydraulic cylinders to communicate to each other for the roll stiffness decrease subject wheels; and bring the spring switching valve and the leveling valve into a closed state and bring a bypass valve into the open state for one of the left and right wheels of the non-roll stiffness decrease subject wheels, to cause a second gas spring for one of the left and right wheels of the non-roll stiffness decrease subject wheels to communicate to the hydraulic cylinders of the roll stiffness decrease subject wheels.
