An apparatus for actively controlling stability of a vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a strut tower brace bar that is disposed in a lateral direction of a vehicle body and opposite ends of the strut tower brace bar are individually connected to upper portions of left and right shock absorbers. Additionally, an actuator is disposed at a predetermined position in a longitudinal direction of the strut tower brace bar. When torsional deformation of the strut tower brace bar occurs due to rolling of the vehicle body, the actuator is configured to restore the strut tower brace bar by receiving gas from the left and right shock absorbers.

Hydraulic system

In a hydraulic system which is biased to a minimum system pressure using a bias valve or other flow obstruction disposed in a tank line, there is provided in a bypass line to the bias valve an evacuating and filling valve through which the hydraulic system is first evacuatable and subsequently fillable with a hydraulic fluid. The valve closes the bypass when a differential pressure overcomes a preadjusted force of a spring element. For this purpose, the valve possesses a displaceably mounted valve body with an integrated throttle and a seal face which closes a through opening when the valve body is shifted against the bias force of the spring element due to the pressure difference.

SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE

An object is to provide a signal processing device capable of reducing a sudden change in the rate of change of an output signal at the time of switching between two signals. In the signal processing device, when a signal of a larger value is selected, a smoothing signal is generated based on the deviation between two signals such that the smoothing signal has a value larger than the values of the two signals between two points at which the smoothing signal intersects the two signals, or when a signal of a smaller value is selected, the smoothing signal is generated based on the deviation between two signals such that the smoothing signal has a value smaller than the values of the two signals between two points at which the smoothing signal intersects the two signals.

A lift device includes a chassis, a boom pivotally coupled to the chassis, a first leveling assembly pivotally coupled to a first end of the chassis, a second leveling assembly pivotally coupled to an opposing second end of the chassis, and a control system. The first leveling assembly includes a first pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a first pitch adjustment and a first roll adjustment of the first end of the chassis. The second leveling assembly includes a second pair of actuators positioned to facilitate a second pitch adjustment and a second roll adjustment of the opposing second end of the chassis. The control system is configured to (i) actively control the first pair of actuators and the second pair of actuators during a first mode of operation, and (ii) actively control the first pair of actuators and facilitate passive control of the second pair of actuators during a second mode of operation.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DAMPERS OF AN ACTIVE SUSPENSION SYSTEM

A control system and method is disclosed for controlling an active suspension and a leveling system for a motor vehicle. The control system may use estimator, controller and management modules. The estimator module processes measured signals obtained from various components and sensors of the vehicle relating to modal displacements, velocities and accelerations, and calculates derived signals which are used as inputs to the controller module. The controller module calculates the desired damper force for each active damper based on motions of the vehicle body and wheels. The management module translates the desired active damper force into an appropriate set of control signals to control each active damper. These operations are performed for each active damper of the vehicle to control each damper in real time.

ACTIVE ROLL STABILIZER

An active roll stabilizer includes a divided torsion bar (1) having torsion bar parts (2, 3) which are arranged one behind the other along a torsion bar axis. An actuator (4) for transmitting torsional torques to the torsion bar (1) is provided. An electric motor (7) and a transmission (6) connected to the electric motor (7) are arranged in an actuator housing (5). The actuator housing (5) is connected to the one torsion bar part (2) for conjoint rotation and the transmission (6) is connected, on the output side, to the other torsion bar part (3) for conjoint rotation. A motor housing (11) of the electric motor (7) is connected, by means of only one of the two axial ends of said motor housing, to the actuator housing (5) for conjoint rotation.

An electric suspension apparatus includes electric actuators provided for a plurality of wheels, respectively, an acceleration sensor disposed in each of the electric actuators, the acceleration sensor detecting a first acceleration, and an electric suspension control ECU controlling each of the electric actuators based on the first acceleration, and the electric suspension control ECU decreases a control amount to the electric actuator, in a case where a first speed based on the first acceleration in an up-down direction is equal to or less than a predetermined speed.

SNOWMOBILE

This specification relates to a snowmobile. Each of the right suspension and the left suspension includes a damper capable of expanding and contracting according to the vertical movement of the lower arm and a spring that exerts spring force in the expansion/contraction direction of the damper. The cylinder of the right damper and the cylinder of the left damper are connected to each other through a hydraulic fluid channel so that the hydraulic fluid flows between the cylinder of the right damper and the cylinder of the left damper. This snowmobile can reduce the difference in contact pressure on snow surface between the left ski and the right ski, when the vehicle turns.
