BATTERY THERMAL MANAGEMENT DEVICE AND METHOD
Disclosed are a battery thermal management method and device. The battery thermal management device includes a first thermal manager configured to regulate a battery temperature using a liquid working fluid, a second thermal manager configured to regulate the battery temperature using a gaseous working fluid, and the second thermal manager works with the first thermal manager by exchanging heat between the liquid working fluid and the gaseous working fluid.
HEAT EXCHANGER COOLING DEVICE
An emission part of a cooling device has a plurality of emission holes. In the emission part, a separator urged by coil springs is disposed, and needles respectively corresponding to the emission holes are provided on the separator. As the separator is moved to a closing position, leading end portions of the needles are inserted into the emission holes to close the emission holes. Thus, when emission of water through the emission holes is stopped in the emission part, water inside the emission holes is pushed out and removed by the leading end portions of the needles inserted into the emission holes. This can reduce the likelihood of clogging of the emission holes due to water that cools a radiator by its latent heat of evaporation.
Intermittent operation of battery temperature control system
A temperature control system includes an on-vehicle battery, on-vehicle air conditioner, and a controller. The on-vehicle battery is charged using an external power supply located outside of the vehicle. The on-vehicle air conditioner controls the temperature of the vehicle interior and the temperature of the on-vehicle battery. The controller operates the on-vehicle air conditioner in an intermittent operation mode so as to control the temperature of the on-vehicle battery, when the on-vehicle battery is charged using the external power supply.
PROJECTION DISPLAY DEVICE AND TEMPERATURE CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A HUD includes a light source unit 57, a light modulation element 54 that modulates light that is emitted from the light source unit 57, a projection portion that projects the modulated light onto a projection surface, wind guide paths 61 and 62 that guide wind W sent from an air conditioning device 9 of a car 100 to the light source unit 57, the wind guide path 61 that guides the wind W to the light modulation element 54, a shutter 63 for performing blocking and opening of the wind guide paths 61 and 62, and a system control unit 64 that selectively performs control for blocking the wind guide paths 61 and 62 and control for opening the wind guide paths 61 and 62 by controlling the shutter 63.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a battery module and an exhaust duct to discharge air from the battery module. A first side member is provided along a first side trim to provide a space between the first side member and the first side trim in a vehicle width direction. The space is connected to the battery module via the exhaust duct. A rear seat is provided in a vehicle interior. A first exhaust port is connected to the exhaust duct via the space and provided in the vehicle interior below the rear seat in a vehicle height direction. A second exhaust port is connected to the exhaust duct via the space and provided in the vehicle interior behind the rear seat in a front-rear direction. The air is discharged from the exhaust duct through the first exhaust port and the second exhaust port via the space.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a floor panel, a battery module, a heater duct, and an exhaust duct. The battery module is disposed on the floor panel under a seat. The heater duct is disposed on the floor panel to discharge air output from an air conditioner through the heater duct. The exhaust duct is provided on the floor panel to discharge air output from the battery module through the exhaust duct. The exhaust duct intersects the heater duct viewed in a height direction of the vehicle.
Vehicle temperature regulation apparatus
A vehicle temperature regulation apparatus includes a temperature regulator configured to regulate a temperature of a circuit board mounted in a vehicle, a controller configured to control the temperature regulator, and a storage unit configured to store a vehicle startup scheduled time. When the temperature of the circuit board at a check time before the vehicle startup scheduled time is outside of a predetermined normal temperature range, the controller executes circuit board pre-temperature-regulation control to operate the temperature regulator to regulate the temperature of the circuit board before the vehicle startup scheduled time.
HYBRID INTERCOOLER SYSTEM INTEGRATED WITH AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides a hybrid intercooler system integrated with an air conditioning system and a method of controlling the same. In accordance with the present disclosure, it is possible to stabilize the temperature of intake air passing through the inlet of an intercooler using a water cooling unit and increase the cooling efficiency of the intercooler using an air cooling unit. Consequently, it is possible to improve engine power and fuel efficiency.
VEHICULAR COOLING SYSTEM FOR FORWARD CAMERA MODULE
A vehicular vision system includes a camera module mounted at an in-cabin side of a windshield of a vehicle. The camera module includes a windshield-interfacing portion that, with the camera module mounted at the in-cabin side of the windshield, interfaces with the in-cabin side of the windshield. A thermally conductive tape is disposed at the windshield-interfacing portion. A thermally conductive connecting element thermally conductively connects to (i) the thermally conductive tape and (ii) at least one component of the camera module. When electrically operated, the at least one component generates heat at an interior portion of the camera module and heat generated by the at least one component of the camera module is dissipated at the windshield of the vehicle via the thermally conductive connecting element and the thermally conductive tape.
ROTATING SENSOR ASSEMBLY
A sensor assembly includes a base, a sensor body mounted to the base and rotatable around an axis relative to the base, a sensor window fixed relative to the sensor body, a sensing apparatus inside the sensor body and having a field of view through the sensor window, a vapor chamber fixed relative to the sensor body, and a heat pipe extending from the sensor body to the vapor chamber. The vapor chamber is spaced radially outward from the sensor body relative to the axis and has a curved shape extending circumferentially around the axis.
