A vehicle heat pump system is provided. The system includes a battery coolant line connected to a battery module and into which a coolant flows. A cooling device includes a radiator and a first water pump connected to a coolant line, to circulate a coolant in the coolant line to cool electrical equipment, and to be selectively connected to the battery coolant line via a first valve. A chiller is disposed in the battery coolant line, to be connected to a refrigerant line of an air conditioner via a connecting line, and to adjust a temperature of a coolant or a refrigerant by selectively exchanging heat between the coolant and refrigerant flowing into the chiller. An integrated control valve is connected to the refrigerant line and the connecting line to adjust a refrigerant flow direction and to selectively expand a refrigerant passing through the inside of the integrated control valve.

A thermal control system includes first and second components. A plurality of coolant conduits fluidly couple the components to define a coolant circuit. A pump is operable to circulate coolant among the conduits. Within the coolant circuit, the first component is upstream of the second component and the pump is upstream of the first component. A controller is configured to selectively operate according to a circuit heating mode, wherein the controller controls the pump at a first speed and controls the first respective component as a thermal source, and a local heating mode, wherein the local heating mode the control controls the pump at a second speed and controls the first respective component as a thermal source. The second speed is less than the first speed. The controller operates in the local heating mode in response to a heating request associated with the second respective component.

CONNECTION MODULE

A plurality of components of a refrigeration cycle are connected to a connection module. The connection module includes a body having a refrigerant flow path that constitutes a part of a refrigerant flow path in the refrigeration cycle. The refrigerant flow path includes a high-temperature-side flow path and a low-temperature-side flow path. The high-temperature-side flow path has a connection port to which a high-temperature-side component of the plurality of components, through which a high-pressure refrigerant of the refrigeration cycle flows, is connectable. The low-temperature-side flow path has a connection port to which a low-temperature-side component of the plurality of components, through which a refrigerant having a lower temperature than the high-pressure refrigerant flows, is connectable.

Plate-type heat exchanger and air conditioning system for vehicle having the same

A plate-type heat exchanger including a body plate, an upper plate, and a lower plate. The body plate includes a plurality of alternately stacked plates, a space between the plurality of plates having a first heat exchange passage through which a first refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure flows, and a second heat exchange passage through which a second refrigerant of low temperature and low pressure flows. A heat exchange between the first refrigerant and the second refrigerant is performed in the body plate. The upper plate is bonded to a front side of the body plate and having a first inlet hole through which the first refrigerant is introduced and a first outlet hole through which the second refrigerant is discharged. The lower plate is bonded to a rear side of the body plate and having a second inlet hole through which the second refrigerant is introduced and a second outlet hole through which the first refrigerant is discharged.

Automotive air conditioning system

An automotive air conditioning system includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, a first pump, a first combined valve, a second combined valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, a second heat exchanger and a battery unit. In a first cooling mode, the compressor, the outdoor heat exchanger, the first combined valve and the first heat exchanger communicate in sequence to form a circuit, while the first pump, the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger communicate to form another circuit. In a first heating mode, the compressor, the first heat exchanger, the second combined valve and the outdoor heat exchanger communicate in sequence to form a circuit, while the first pump, the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchange communicate in sequence to form another circuit. Thermal management of the battery unit can be made by interacting with the first cooling mode or the first heating mode.

THROTTLING HEAT EXCHANGE ASSEMBLY

A throttling heat exchange assembly includes a first heat exchange part, a bridge, a second heat exchange part, a throttling element, and a sensing element. The bridge is at least partially located between the first heat exchange part and the second heat exchange part. The bridge includes two holes and/or slots for communication facing towards the first heat exchange part. The bridge includes at least two holes or slots that allow communication with the second heat exchange part. The bridge is further provided with a first mounting part. The sensing element is fitted to the first mounting part. A sensing head of the sensing element is located in an internal space of the bridge.

Thermal management system for vehicle

A vehicle thermal management system includes a cooling apparatus including a radiator, a first water pump, and a valve connected through a coolant line, a battery cooling apparatus including a second water pump and a battery module connected by a battery coolant line; a chiller connected to the battery coolant line and connected to an air conditioner through a refrigerant connection line connected to the battery coolant line and connected to a refrigerant line of the air conditioner through a refrigerant connection line, to adjust a temperature of the coolant by performing heat exchange between a coolant supplied to the battery coolant line and a refrigerant selectively supplied from the air conditioner; and a heating circuit for warming an interior of the vehicle by use of the coolant having a temperature increased while the coolant passes through at least one electrical component.

Water-cooling type battery cooling system and cooling method using the same

A water-cooling type battery cooling system and a cooling method using the same are provided. The water-cooling type battery cooling system cools a battery using an air conditioner system. The air conditioner system includes a refrigerant circuit to improve control of cooling discharge temperature provided therein.
