The shroud wall surface extends around a fan along a radial direction orthogonal to a rotation axis. The plurality of ventilation openings are formed through the shroud wall surface in a thickness direction of the shroud wall surface to allow passing of wind generated by a fan motor. A width of a wall surface side opening on a downstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening is smaller than a width of a lateral wall side opening on an upstream side of the wind in the ventilation opening.

The at least one condenser fan assembly includes a fan casing and a fan rotor rotatable relative to the fan casing about an axis. The fan rotor has a plurality of fan blades. A shroud is coupled to a radially outer end of the plurality of fan blades. The shroud includes an axially oriented protrusion extending from a distal end of the shroud towards the fan casing and a clearance is formed between the protrusion and the casing defining a convoluted flow path.

The rectangular portion defines a suction port and includes a close wall close to the circular wall, and a farther wall farther from the circular wall than the close wall is from. The close wall includes a closest portion closest to the circular wall in the close wall, and a pair of connection portions connected to the farther wall. The closest wall is between the pair of connection portions. The fan shroud includes an opening portion extending through the rectangular portion from inside to outside of the rectangular portion. At least one of the pair of connection portions includes the opening portion, and the closest portion does not include the opening portion.

The air diffuser has a plurality of air deflectors that are disposed radially about the fan. The air deflectors have curved surfaces. Each curved surface defines an airflow channel that has an inlet extending radially outward from a periphery of the centrifugal fan and an outlet extending axially away from the diffuser relative to the rotational axis of the fan.
