A vehicular air conditioning device includes an air conditioning case having first, second case introduction ports and first, second case discharge ports, and a fan. The first, second case discharge ports are offset upward and downward in an up-down direction relative to a rotation axis, respectively. A first inner guide surface of an inner guide plate is located on the one side of a second inner guide surface in the left-right direction. Air introduced through the first case introduction port is guided by the first inner guide surface to be drawn from a first passage into the fan, the air being blown upward to flow through the first case discharge port. Air introduced through the second case introduction port is guided by the second inner guide surface to be drawn from a second passage into the fan, the air being blown upward to flow through the second case discharge port.

A method for servicing a blower motor installed in a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) assembly for a motor vehicle may include rotating a scroll housing subassembly of the HVAC assembly from an installed position to an extraction position. The method may include detaching a first securing element, the first securing element being distributed on the scroll housing subassembly and an evaporator housing subassembly of the HVAC assembly. The method may include removing the scroll housing subassembly from the HVAC assembly in a direction of extraction. The method may include that the scroll housing subassembly reaches the extraction position by axial rotation in a direction orthogonal to the direction of extraction. The method may include that the extraction position is a position at which the scroll housing subassembly is cleared for moving in the direction of extraction.

A rib is formed at a periphery of the suction port. The periphery of the suction port has: an overlapping region, which overlaps with the tube upper end portion in the axial direction; and a non-overlapping region, which does not overlap with the tube upper end portion in the axial direction. The rib occupies more area in the non-overlapping region than in the overlapping region.

The blower unit of a two-layered air conditioner for a vehicle, which can divide and inhale indoor air and outdoor air, includes: a scroll case having an upper passageway and a lower passageway; a first blower wheel disposed in the upper passageway; a second blower wheel disposed in the lower passageway and arranged below the first blower wheel; a blower motor for rotating the first blower wheel and the second blower wheel; and a motor housing for covering the blower motor, wherein a hub for guiding air is disposed on the second blower wheel, and the hub of the second blower wheel is partially overlapped with an end portion of the motor housing.

The center portion (8) of the half-spiral housing radius is reduced in a region determining a maximum height H(δ,z) of the half-spiral housing (1) compared to a logarithmic spiral radius (r.sub.log).

A centrifugal blower includes: a centrifugal fan having plural blades arranged around a fan axis and a separation plate to blow out air in a radial direction after being sucked from one side in an axial direction; a fan casing housing the centrifugal fan; a partition plate that defines a first air passage and a second air passage arranged on the other side of the first air passage in the axial direction; and a separation cylinder arranged inside the plural blades in the radial direction. The separation cylinder expands in the radial direction as extending toward the other side in the axial direction, and is shaped to extend outward in the radial direction obliquely to the axial direction at the other end position of the separation cylinder positioned at the other end in the axial direction.

The blower unit and the air conditioning device including the same prevent air from flowing reversely to the outside of the scroll casing by means of the arrangement of the bell mouth and the scroll casing and the structural shape of the bell mouth.
