An electric compressor includes a motor housing, an inverter, a cover, and a fastener. The inverter includes a board; an electronic component; a holder composed of an insulating material, the holder containing the electronic component and supporting the board; a bus bar integrated with the holder, and electrically connected to a circuit pattern and the motor housing; and a tubular member interposed between the cover and the bus bar, with the fastener inserted in the tubular member. The fastening force from the fastener causes the tubular member to press the bus bar toward the motor housing.

The outlet opening exhausts air in the interior space that has passed through the inlet opening to the outside of the vehicle. The ventilation passage is formed by being surrounded by an interior member that faces the interior space and a vehicle body panel that covers the outside of the interior member, and allows communication between the inlet opening and the outlet opening. A shielding plate that extends to intersect a noise entry path from the outlet opening to the inlet opening is disposed in a middle of the ventilation passage.

The device exhibits a housing that encompasses a chamber and features at least two outlet openings. Here, the housing is constructed between tubular connecting lines, whose ends are aligned with one another. An insert element for reducing the cross-sectional area of the pass-through opening is arranged inside at least one of the pass-through openings.

COMPRESSOR

The objective of the present invention is to provide a compressor with which it is possible to simplify the manufacture of a soundproof cover. A compressor (1) is provided in an air conditioning device for an automobile. The compressor (1) is provided with: a main body portion which has a discharge port (12) and which compresses a refrigerant; and a soundproof cover (20) which includes a first cover (30) and a second cover (40), separate from the first cover (30), and inside which an internal space is formed, the main body portion being accommodated in the internal space. The soundproof cover (20) includes, in a part in which the first cover (30) and the second cover (40) face one another: a contacting portion (24) in which the first cover (30) and the second cover (40) are in contact with one another, thereby separating the internal space and an external space outside the soundproof cover (20); and a spaced-apart portion (25) in which the first cover (30) and the second cover (40) are separated from one another to form a first opening (26) connecting the internal space and the external space. The discharge port (12) is inserted through the first opening (26).

The invention provides an air-conditioner for maintaining a temperature of a conditioned space at or near a set temperature. The air-conditioner comprises at least one rotating or reciprocating element adapted to rotate or reciprocate at a variable frequency. The variable frequency including one or more nuisance frequencies at which vibration or noise within the air-conditioner or the conditioned space causes a nuisance. A processor programmed to control variation of the variable frequency in response to operational requirement. The processor is configured to operate the at least one rotating or reciprocating element so as to substantially exclude operation at the one or more nuisance frequencies.

The air conditioning case configures an air passage through which air to be blown into an interior flows. The blower fan is disposed inside the air conditioning case. The facing wall portion is disposed on an air flow upstream side of the blower fan to face a suction port of the blower fan. The air conditioning case has a facing surface that faces the facing wall portion and in which through holes are formed. The air conditioning case has a closed space formed therein on an opposite side of the facing surface with respect to the air passage and communicating with the air passage via the through holes. The through holes and the closed space form a resonator having a predetermined resonance frequency.

Vehicle HVAC control system and method

A vehicle HVAC system includes a component within a refrigerant system in a vehicle HVAC system, a vibration sensor that generates a vibration signal indicating a vibration of the component, and a controller in communication with the vibration sensor to receive the vibration signal and the refrigerant system. The controller is configured to determine whether the vibration signal corresponds to a predetermined vibration value and for adjusting the operation of the refrigerant system to minimize the system noise if the vibration signal corresponds to the predetermined vibration value.

The nose portion (37) has an inclined portion (37A) that is inclined with respect to the third wall (33) such that the width of the inlet portion (11BA) increases in the (Z) direction from the inlet to the outlet of the inlet portion (11BA) of the ventilation flow path (11B). In the (Z) direction, the flow path width adjustment portion (14) is formed so as to narrow the width of the inlet portion (11BA) of the ventilation flow path (11B) in the (Y) direction.
