An apparatus for controlling an engine of a vehicle includes an engine managing part to control warming up the engine at an initial start stage, and an air conditioning controlling part to request the engine managing part to perform an engine start, depending on whether the engine is warming up when control of air conditioning is necessary. The air conditioning controlling part continuously requests the engine managing part to perform the engine start to control the air conditioning until a warming up duration of the engine is terminated during the warning up of the engine.
COOLING SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR COOLING INTERIOR VOLUMES OF CARGO TRAILERS
A system for controlling a temperature a within an interior volume of a cargo trailer adapted to transport perishable goods is described herein. The system includes a fluid distribution assembly and a monitoring system. The fluid distribution assembly is configured to selectively channel a flow of cryogenic cooling fluid into the cargo trailer interior volume to facilitate adjusting a temperature within the interior volume. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor for sensing an environmental parameter of the cargo trailer, and a controller coupled to the sensor and to the fluid distribution assembly. The controller is configured to receive a monitoring signal indicative of the sensed environmental parameter, determine an environmental condition of the cargo trailer as a function of the environmental parameter, and provide a notification signal if the determined environmental condition is different than a predefined environmental condition.
Method and system for managing customized vehicle settings across multiple vehicles
A system and method for managing customized vehicle settings across multiple vehicles is disclosed. The system comprises a vehicle customization platform where a user customization profile with information about customized settings can be transferred to a customization management system within each of multiple vehicles that may be driven by a user with the user customization profile. The customized vehicle settings include seat position settings, horsepower settings, mirror position settings, climate settings, and audio system settings. Upon receiving the user customization profile, a customization management system passes customized settings to different vehicle control systems to automatically set the customized settings.
Recreational Vehicle, Cooling Device, Controlling System and Method for Controlling the Cooling Device
The present embodiments refer to a controlling system configured to be installed in a recreational vehicle, cooling devices comprising or coupled to such controlling systems, a recreational vehicle comprising such controlling systems and methods for controlling cooling the cooling devices. The controlling system comprises a central processing unit, a read out unit and a controlling unit and is configured to be coupled to a plurality of electronic devices of the recreational vehicle. The read out unit of the controlling system is configured to read out data from the electronic devices and/or sensors of the recreational vehicle coupled to the controlling system and to forward the read out data to the central processing unit. The central processing unit is configured to receive and to process the read out data received from the read out unit and to forward processed data to the controlling unit. The controlling unit is configured to receive the processed data from the central processing unit and to control at least one of the electronic devices based on at least some of the processed data.
Transport climate control remote management
A method of remotely managing a transport climate control system (TCCS) includes a remote management device receiving performance data from the TCCS. The performance data based on one or more detected operating parameters of the climate control circuit. The method also including the remote management device providing the performance data to one or more user devices. A remote management system includes a remote management device configured to receive performance data for a climate control circuit from a climate controller of a TCCS and to provide the performance data to one or more user devices. A TCCS includes a controller configured to: generate performance data based on the one or more detected operating parameters of a climate control circuit, and transmit the performance data to a remote monitoring device. The climate controller also configured to receive an operating instruction from the remote monitoring device.
CHARGING CONTROL SYSTEM
A charging control system includes: a battery rechargeable with electric power from an external power supply; a battery cooler that cools the battery; and a controller that controls charging of the battery and cooling of the battery. The controller includes processing circuitry configured to: acquire, in a case where charging is included in a scheduled travel plan, noise information related to a charging system that performs the charging and environment information of a charging place where the charging is performed; determine a quietness requirement of the charging place based on the noise information and the environment information; determine a target temperature of the battery at the time of arrival at the charging place or at the time of start of the charging based on the quietness requirement; and control the battery cooler based on the target temperature of the battery.
Solar Powered Vehicle Temperature Control Assembly
A solar powered vehicle temperature control assembly for solar powered vehicle temperature control includes a solar panel positioned on the top surface of a roof a vehicle. The solar panel provides power to the solar powered vehicular temperature assembly. A plurality of weight cells positioned in the vehicle seat send readings to a control module. A thermal sensor reads the internal temperature within the interior of a vehicle and sends readings to the control module. The control module determines if the temperature reading falls within a set range of temperature. The control module is in electric communication with the vehicle air conditioning unit and heating system and can turn either on depending on the temperature reading. If the temperature reading is above the set range, the control module turns on the air conditioning unit. If the temperature reading is below the set range, the control module turns on the heating system.
In-cabin temperature monitoring for child presence detection applications
An apparatus comprising a radar component and a temperature sensor. The radar component may be configured to detect a presence of a person in a vehicle and determine an age range of the person detected. The temperature sensor may be configured to determine an ambient temperature in the vehicle and operate independently from a heating and cooling system of the vehicle. The apparatus may be configured to operate when the vehicle is turned off. A processor may be configured to determine an urgency level in response to the age range of the person detected and the ambient temperature. The processor may be configured to generate escalating actions in response to the urgency level.
Method and system for variably adjusting indoor temperature of vehicle
A method and system capable of variably adjusting an indoor temperature of a vehicle according to characteristics of an object to be protected in the vehicle when a driver has turned off the engine and exited the vehicle are provided. The method includes determining whether a current indoor temperature of the vehicle exceeds a predetermined allowable temperature of an object to be protected and switching an IG terminal of a key box of the vehicle to an ON state. A sustainable time of indoor temperature control of the vehicle is calculated in response to determining that the current indoor temperature of the vehicle exceeds the predetermined allowable temperature of the object to be protected. The indoor temperature of the vehicle is adjusted to be within a predetermined allowable temperature range or indoor air of the vehicle is circulated according to the sustainable time.
