Each arrangement is positioned at a respective occupant-specific acoustic zone of the vehicle. Each arrangement is configured to communicate with a hardware-based processing unit that, when executing code of a hardware-based storage device in operation of the system, interacts, via the arrangement, primarily only with a vehicle occupant occupying a corresponding occupant-specific acoustic zone. In some implementations, along with or instead of the acoustic equipment, the system includes multiple arrangements of occupant-zone-specific acoustic equipment in the vehicle. In various embodiments, based on identification of occupants at respective vehicle zones in operation of the vehicle, operations are performed, such as provision of media, vehicle-occupant conversation, and customized HVAC delivery.

A system and method for managing customized vehicle settings across multiple vehicles is disclosed. The system comprises a vehicle customization platform where a user customization profile with information about customized settings can be transferred to a customization management system within each of multiple vehicles that may be driven by a user with the user customization profile. The customized vehicle settings include seat position settings, horsepower settings, mirror position settings, climate settings, and audio system settings. Upon receiving the user customization profile, a customization management system passes customized settings to different vehicle control systems to automatically set the customized settings.

In a case in which electric power is supplied from outside of the vehicle and an operation of the air conditioning unit is set by the timer during the charging prohibition time period, the control unit operates the air conditioning unit using the electric power supplied from outside of the vehicle without charging the secondary battery with the electric power, and in a case in which electric power is supplied from outside of the vehicle and an operation of the air conditioning unit is set by the timer during a time period other than the charging prohibition time period, performs the charging of the secondary battery with the electric power and operates the air conditioning unit using the electric power supplied from outside of the vehicle.

A method includes determining, by a controller of the TCCS, a set of TCCS operational measurements; obtaining, by the controller, a set of TCCS operational settings; determining, by the controller, a set of cargo measurements; creating a shipment performance log based on the set of TCCS operational measurements, the set of TCCS operational settings, and the set of cargo measurements; publishing the shipment performance log to a data repository; and retrieving the shipment performance log to facilitate disposition of goods in the internal space.
