11263884 · 2022-03-01 ·

The present invention comprises a system or method that collects data regarding the current and predicted weather in the proximity of a targeted vehicle and compares it with aspects of the targeted vehicle comprising the temperature in the passenger compartment, its geographical location, features, interior and exterior colors, size, whether its parked in a shaded area, etc. The system or method also comprises a regression function that may predict the time that a person, animal, or food product may remain in the vehicle in a safe condition. For example, under certain weather conditions, it may not be safe to keep a dog inside of a parked vehicle for more than four minutes. In addition, the system or method may collect and analyze additional factors based on previously collected data for the same vehicle models, and may comprise a prediction unit that may exchange information with other devices over communication protocols.

The closed loop feedback control and diagnostics system also includes a controller configured to receive source current signals from each of the plurality of source current sensors, configured to receive compressor current signals from each of the plurality of compressor current sensors, and configured to control operation of the transport climate control system based on the received source current signals and the received compressor current signals.

ENHANCED VEHICLE OPERATION

A computer includes a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to heat a passenger cabin of a vehicle and to actuate a vehicle security subsystem to prevent entry into the vehicle upon initiation of a cabin sanitizing operation, wherein the sanitizing operation includes actuating a heater to heat the passenger cabin above a temperature threshold.

Motor lock determination device

In a motor lock determination device (1), a lock determination on an electric motor (7) is performed such that: a first detection value (PI), which is a detection value (P) of a refrigerant pressure sensor (17) during a stop of an electric fan (5), is detected, and a second detection value (P2), which is a detection value (P) of the refrigerant pressure sensor (17) after the electric fan (5) is driven for a first predetermined time (Δcustom character), is detected; when the second detection value (P2) is equal to the first detection value (PI) or more than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that a motor lock occurs; and when the second detection value (P2) is less than the first detection value (PI), it is determined that no motor lock occurs.

SAFETY DEVICE FOR VEHICLE

A safety device for a vehicle can include an impulse sensor configured to sense an impact to the vehicle and generate an impulse signal based on the impact, a compressor configured to compress refrigerant for a refrigeration cycle of the vehicle, and a safety valve connected to the compressor and configured to receive the impulse signal from the impulse sensor, and in response to the impulse signal exceeding a predetermined value, open the safety valve to place an inner space of the compressor in communication with an outside of the compressor for discharging the refrigerant outside the vehicle.

Processing unit for vehicle air conditioner warning, warning device and warning method

A processing unit, method, and device for vehicle air conditioner warning are disclosed. The processing unit is configured to judge a ventilation state of the current vehicle location based on positioning satellite signals, to judge an operation state of the vehicle engine based on information, to judge a running state of the vehicle based on information received, to judge a using state of the air conditioner based on information, to judge a vehicle door/window opening/closing state based on information, and to determine that there is a potential risk of poisoning and initiate the warning element when all the following conditions are met: the ventilation state at the current vehicle location is bad, the engine is in operation, the vehicle is in a stopped state or runs at a low speed, the air conditioner is being used, and all the doors and windows of the vehicle are closed.

There is disclosed a vehicle air conditioner device which is capable of continuing an air conditioning operation also in a case where a disconnection failure occurs in a solenoid valve to change a flow of a refrigerant in each operation mode. Respective solenoid valves 17, 20, 21 and 22 to change the respective operation modes of a vehicle air conditioner device 1 are constituted so that the flow of the refrigerant changes to a cooling mode when all the solenoid valves 17, 20, 21 and 22 are non-energized. The vehicle air conditioner device executes a cooling mode during failure in which a controller adjusts all the solenoid valves 17, 20, 21 and 22 to be non-energized and operates a compressor 2, in a case where the disconnection failure occurs in one of the solenoid valves 17, 20, 21 and 22.

AFTER-BLOW CONTROL METHOD OF VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER

An after-blow control method of a vehicle air conditioner includes: turning on after-blow function applied to the vehicle and turning off the vehicle start, determining, by the controller, whether a condition of the vehicle is satisfied, displaying an after-blower symbol after ignition is turned off if it is determined that the condition of the vehicle is satisfied, determining, by the controller, whether a preset first time has elapsed after the vehicle is turned off, operating the after-blow at a preset intensity for a second preset time and displaying the after-blower symbol if it is determined that the first preset time has elapsed after the vehicle is turned off, and terminating the after-blow function when the second preset time elapses or when the vehicle is turned on.

ABNORMALITY DIAGNOSIS DEVICE FOR BLOWER SYSTEM
20220048364 · 2022-02-17 ·

An abnormality diagnosis device that performs an abnormality diagnosis on a blower system that sends air to a plurality of air receiving objects obtains a target operating state of an airflow control device that controls airflow to the air receiving objects, obtains a temperature detected by a temperature sensor that detects a first temperature as a temperature of air fed to a first air receiving object as one of the air receiving objects or a temperature of the first air receiving object, estimates the first temperature, based on the target operating state of the airflow control device, and performs abnormality diagnosis on the airflow control device. The abnormality diagnosis device determines that there is an abnormality in the airflow control device, when a difference between the detected first temperature and the estimated first temperature is equal to or larger than a predetermined first reference value.
