The invention relates to an end line assembly (10) for a heating device (30) of a vehicle (42) fit for habitation, in particular a caravan, motorhome or ship, comprising: at least one exhaust-gas pipe portion (16-1, 16-2) for leading away exhaust gases of an associated burner of the heating device (30); at least one combustion air pipe portion (18) for feeding combustion air to an associated burner of the heating device (30), the exhaust-gas pipe portion (16-1, 16-2) and the combustion air pipe portion (18) being parallel to one another and immovable in a sleeve portion (20), the outside (22) of which delimits the line assembly (10) with respect to the surroundings.
Combustion chamber assembly unit
A combustion chamber assembly unit for a fuel-operated vehicle heater includes a combustion chamber housing (14) elongated in a direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L), with a combustion chamber (16) radially outwardly bounded by a circumferential wall (18), and with a combustion chamber bottom (20) axially delimiting the combustion chamber (16). A combustion air feed volume (36) is provided that is open to the combustion chamber (16) via a plurality of passage openings (38). A cooling medium feed device (46) is provided for feeding a liquid cooling medium to the combustion air feed volume (36).
Vehicle heater
A vehicle heater housing (46) has an inlet area (49), an outlet area (51) and an air flow space (47) for air to be heated with a burner chamber assembly unit (30), to be fed with combustion air and fuel. A heat exchanger area (11), including a heat exchanger housing (12), is elongated in the direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L) with an outer side (24) around which air flowing in the air flow space flows. Heat transfer ribs are on a side of the heat exchanger housing. The heater housing has a housing circumferential wall (56) and an outlet front wall area (58). The heat transfer ribs have a longitudinal edge (64) extending along the housing circumferential wall and a radial edge extending along the outlet front wall area. A distance of the radial edge from the outlet front wall area changes from radially outwards to radially inwards.
PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CAST METAL HEAT EXCHANGER HOUSING FOR A VEHICLE HEATER
A process for manufacturing a cast metal heat exchanger housing (12) for a vehicle heater having a pot-shape housing wall (14) extending in a direction of a housing longitudinal axis (L) and having a plurality of heat transfer ribs (22) extending on an outer side of the housing wall (14) in the area of a circumferential wall (16) and in the area of a bottom wall (18) of the housing wall (14) in the direction of the housing longitudinal axis (L). The process includes metal casting wherein a sprue cross-sectional area including at least some of the heat transfer ribs (22). The cast metal heat exchanger housing has an axial end face formed upon cutting off metallic material that is essentially at right angles to the housing longitudinal axis and extends into an area of at least some of the heat transfer ribs.

A combustion chamber assembly unit for a fuel-operated vehicle heater is provided. The combustion chamber assembly includes a combustion chamber housing (12) with a combustion chamber (18), which is defined by a circumferential wall (14) and by a bottom area (16). An oxidation catalytic converter device (54), through which combustion waste gases can flow, is provided downstream in relation to the combustion chamber (18). The combustion chamber assembly further includes a hydrocarbon storage device (74) or/and a nitrogen storage device (76).

An evaporator assembly (10), in particular for a fuel-operated vehicle heater (12), comprising a pot-like evaporator reception (14), an evaporator body (16) inserted into the pot-like evaporator reception (14), a plate-like designed hold-down element (18), which is fixed to the evaporator reception (14) and fixes the evaporator body (16) in the evaporator reception (14), and wherein the plate-like designed hold-down element (18) has at least one retaining claw (22), which has an upper part (26) on an upper side (24) of the plate-like designed hold-down element (18) and a lower part (30) on a lower side (28) of the plate-like designed hold-down element (18), wherein the upper part (26) and the lower part (30) point away from the plate-like designed hold-down element (18).

A delivery device provides two medium flows guided separately from one another in a fuel-operated vehicle heater. The delivery device includes a first delivery wheel (14) rotatable about a first rotation axis (A) for delivering a first medium, a second delivery wheel (16) rotatable about a second rotation axis (A) for delivering a second medium, as well as a drive motor (12) for driving the first delivery wheel (14) and the second delivery wheel (16). At least one delivery wheel (16) is coupled with the drive motor (12) via a magnetic coupling device (60).

A fuel-operated vehicle heater, combustion chamber assembly unit includes a combustion chamber housing (14) having a combustion chamber bottom (18) and a combustion chamber circumferential wall (16) extending in a housing longitudinal axis (L) direction to define a combustion chamber (20). A porous evaporator medium (60) is on the combustion chamber circumferential wall or/and the combustion chamber bottom, at an inner side facing the combustion chamber. A fuel feed line (62) feeds liquid fuel into the porous evaporator medium. A first combustion air feed device (68), associated with the combustion chamber bottom, feeds primary combustion air (VP) into a first combustion zone (50) at which the porous evaporator medium is arranged. A second combustion air feed device (70), following the first combustion zone in the housing longitudinal axis direction feeds secondary combustion air (VS) into the combustion chamber at an axially spaced location from the first combustion zone.
