DEFROSTER STRUCTURE
A defroster structure includes: a window panel; an instrument panel; an air outlet member formed with an opening through which defrost air is blown out; and a duct member. The air outlet member includes an adjacent part forming a front edge of the opening and adjacent to the window panel, and a fixed part continuous to the adjacent part. The fixed part is fixed to the duct member at a position in front of a front end part of the window panel, which is exposed to the vehicle compartment, in cross-sectional view in a front-rear direction.
Heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system with zonal control
A heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system may effectively provide and/or substantially maintain adjacent thermal zones that have different temperatures and/or humidities from one another. The HVAC system may include a duct network including zonal ducts each having a zonal duct exit configured to create aerodynamic profiles that result in a thermal zone. A thermal zone may be characterized by a volume having a temperature and/or humidity which may differ from an adjacent thermal zone, such that a temperature and/or humidity gradient exists at a thermal zone boundary between adjacent thermal zones, and such that diffusion of the temperature and/or humidity between the adjacent thermal zones is aerodynamically inhibited, or otherwise minimized.
Vehicular air conditioner
Provided is a vehicular air conditioner including: an air-conditioning case that has an upper passage and a lower passage which are partitioned by an upper and lower partition plate therebetween; a heating unit that is disposed over the upper passage and the lower passage; an upper passage partition plate that is disposed downstream of the heating unit of the upper passage and forms a guide passage that guides a portion of air, which has passed the heating unit, toward an upper and lower connection opening that connects the upper passage and the lower passage; and a guide passage opening/closing unit that closes the guide passage in a state where the upper and lower connection opening is closed.
Blower unit of air conditioner for vehicle
A blower unit of an air conditioner for a vehicle which allows one actuator to drive two doors in a structure in which at least two doors are provided in an intake duct is disclosed. The blower unit of an air conditioner for a vehicle includes an intake duct including an internal air inlet through which internal air is introduced and an external air inlet through which external air is introduced, a first door configured to adjust an opening amount of a part of the external air inlet and an opening amount of the internal air inlet, and a second door configured to adjust an opening amount of the remaining part of the external air inlet, wherein the first door and the second door are linked and driven together.
Airflow turning device for HVAC system
An airflow turning device with airflow control channels for an outlet of a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) case that directs airflow to a plurality of different vehicle outlets. The airflow control channels extend from an inner upstream side of the outlet to an outer downstream side of the outlet. Different ones of the plurality of channels have different lengths to generate a varied pressure drop at the outer downstream side in response to airflow blown into the plurality of channels from the inner upstream side.
Apparatus allowing wider range of distribution of air from a heating, ventilating and air conditioning system in a motor vehicle
An apparatus allows for the distribution of air over a wider range of area. That apparatus includes a telescoping duct assembly, having an inner duct section received for sliding movement in an outer duct section, a receiver in the inner duct section, an elongated port in the outer duct section and an air register held in the receiver and projecting through the elongated port.
SINGLE-LEVEL FIFTH WHEEL TRAVEL TRAILER WITH PASS-THROUGH STORAGE COMPARTMENT
A recreational fifth wheel travel trailer includes a frame, a wheel for supporting the frame on a ground surface, and a body supported by the frame. The body has a length defined between a front end and a rear end of the body. A roof is coupled to the body, and an interior space is defined in the body between a floor and the roof. The travel trailer includes a door for providing entry to the interior space, a step for gaining access to the floor of the interior space, and a storage compartment at least partially formed by the body. The storage compartment is located below the floor of the interior space. The floor is defined along a plane from the rear end of the body to a location near the front end thereof such that the interior space is accessible without traversing more than a single step.
ON-VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER
An on-vehicle air conditioner includes a suction port disposed on a ceiling of a vehicle cabin to suction air within the vehicle cabin, a door discharge port disposed at an upper end of a door opening portion located on a wall face of the vehicle to discharge air downward, and an upper duct configured to guide to the door discharge port the air suctioned by the suction port.
Closed loop cooling system for a junction box in a vehicle, and related components, systems, and methods
A closed loop cooling system for a junction box in a vehicle includes a junction box housing and a storage compartment for a vehicle. A cool air duct interior volume of a cool air duct and a warm air duct interior volume of a warm air duct are each in fluidic communication with a housing interior volume of the junction box housing and a compartment interior volume of the storage compartment to form a closed loop cooling system. The cool air duct interior volume is sized to convey cool air from a cool air outlet of the storage compartment to a cool air inlet of the junction box housing, and the warm air duct interior volume is sized to convey warm air, which is warmer than the cool air, from a warm air outlet of the junction box housing to a warm air inlet of the storage compartment.
VEHICLE AND ARMREST
A vehicle according to the present disclosure includes a vehicle body, an armrest, a sensor, and an air blower port. The armrest is disposed along a side portion of a seat in the vehicle body. The armrest is disposed in the traveling direction. The armrest includes an upper surface on which an arm of a passenger sitting on the seat is allowed to rest. The sensor is provided on a side surface of the armrest. The sensor detects a hand of the passenger. The air blower port is provided on the side surface of the armrest and provided between the sensor and the upper surface of the armrest. The air blower sends out air from the armrest. The air sent out from the air blower port is changed on the basis of at least a detection result of the sensor.
