Vehicular air conditioning unit
In a vehicular air conditioning unit, an air conditioning case includes a space forming portion that forms a drainage space which is partitioned from an air passage. The space forming portion includes a drainage portion that discharges water from inside the air conditioning case to outside of the air conditioning case. Further, the space forming portion includes an upstream side communication portion that communicates the drainage space to an upstream side space on an air flow upstream side of the blower in the air passage. Further, the space forming portion includes a downstream side communication portion that communicates the drainage space to a downstream side space on the air flow downstream side of the blower in the air passage.
EVAPORATOR NOISE REDUCTION
A sump for an evaporator is disclosed. The sump may comprise: a sump housing comprising an upper end and a lower end, wherein the upper end comprises an opening and the lower end comprises a floor having a drain; and a tray located within the opening, wherein the tray comprises a base and a plurality of partitions extending from the base towards the floor, wherein the plurality of partitions divide the sump housing into chambers in acoustic communication with one another via a gap at a distal end of each of the plurality of partitions, wherein each gap defines a spacing between the respective partition and the floor, wherein, when noise enters via the drain, the sump housing and tray reduce acoustic noise which exits the sump.
RAILROAD VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONING APPARATUS
In a railroad vehicle air conditioning apparatus, an indoor heat exchanger is arranged within a housing at a position through which a flow of air passes. A drain pan is arranged within the housing below the indoor heat exchanger. A gap is left between a lower end portion of the indoor heat exchanger and a bottom surface of the drain pan. A blocking member is detachable from the indoor heat exchanger and includes a resilient close-contact portion that is in resiliently close contact with the bottom surface of the drain pan and a blocking portion that blocks between the resilient close-contact portion and the indoor heat exchanger so as to transmit to the resilient close-contact portion at least a part of load of the indoor heat exchanger.
Air conditioning unit
In an air conditioning unit, a chamber 3 is provided therein with a divider 36, 38 which divides an interior of the chamber 3 into one space where the air conditioner 20 is placed and the other space where the blowers 5 are placed, the air conditioning unit further comprises an air inflow port 32 for introducing the air from outside of the chamber 3 into the one space, and the divider 36, 38 forms a divider opening 42, and therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide an air conditioning unit capable of mixing, with each other, air which is blown out from an air conditioner and whose temperature is adjusted and air which bypasses the air conditioner and whose temperature is not adjusted.
HVAC air inlet housing with water evacuation path
An HVAC air inlet housing for a vehicle includes an air inlet housing having a top portion and a bottom portion. A fresh air duct, to convey fresh air from an air inlet to a blower, is defined by the air inlet housing. A water inlet port, to connect to an evaporator drain port via a hose, is defined in the bottom portion. The hose is to convey water from the evaporator drain port to the water inlet port. A water tunnel is defined by the air inlet housing to convey water from the water inlet port to a sluice defined in the bottom portion. The sluice is to convey water from the water tunnel to a sump defined in the bottom portion. A sump drain port is defined in the air inlet housing bottom portion in fluid communication with the sump to drain water from the sump.
VEHICLE AIR CONDITIONER AND VEHICLE
Air conditioning units each include an evaporator, a blower fan, a compressor that compresses a coolant, a condenser that causes heat exchange between the coolant and outside air, a coolant pipe that causes the coolant to circulate, and a spray nozzle that sprays water in a mist form to the outside air flowing to the condenser. The evaporator and the blower fan are provided in a ceiling portion of the vehicle, and the condenser and the spray nozzle are provided in a lower portion of the vehicle.
Air conditioning device for vehicle
A first case member of a blower unit has a first communication passage communicating with an air intake side of a blower. A second case member of a temperature adjustment unit has a second communication passage communicating with a condensed water discharge portion through which condensed water is discharged. The respective case members are joined with each other in a state where a portion forming the first communication passage and a portion forming the second communication passage face each other. The portion of the first communication passage includes a drain portion having a groove shape and configured to discharge water in the first communicating passage. The portion of the second communication passage includes a drain receiving portion having a groove shape, communicating with the first communication passage and receiving the water discharged from the drain portion.
Air conditioner for vehicle
The present invention relates to an air conditioner for a vehicle can enhance sealing performance and is resistant to noise and vibration, and prevent penetration of water into the interior of the vehicle by inducing water introduced into a seal into an air-conditioning case by a pressure difference. The air conditioner for a vehicle, which has a structure that a pipe of a heat exchanger penetrates through a dash panel (150) of the vehicle, includes: a bracket (140) for inserting and fixing the pipe; and a seal (160) for fixing the bracket (140) between an air-conditioning case and the seal to get in contact with the air-conditioning case.
Vehicle Under Mounted HVAC Container
A container for mounting under a vehicle floor, the container comprising: a plurality of side walls, wherein the plurality of side walls have a plurality of openings; a top wall is attached to a top portion of the plurality of side walls, wherein the top wall is attached to the vehicle floor; a removable floor is attached to a bottom portion of the plurality of side walls; a cavity defined by the plurality of side walls, the top wall, and the floor, wherein the cavity contains an HVAC apparatus. The container further comprising: a plurality of ducts comprising a plurality of first ends connected to the plurality of openings in the plurality of side walls; and, a plurality of second ends connected to a plurality of outputs; wherein air from the HVAC apparatus flows through the plurality of ducts from the plurality of openings to the plurality of outputs.
