System and method for malodor detection and remediation
Described herein is a system and method for detecting malodor within a cabin of an autonomous vehicle, wherein initiation of a remediation system and/or dispatch of the autonomous vehicle to a service hub for mitigating the malodor is based upon sensor signals that monitor the cabin of the autonomous vehicle. The remediation system can include devices such as an HVAC system or a window, which are operated to reduce the concentration of airborne molecules in the cabin of the autonomous vehicle when the concentration of airborne molecules exceeds an air quality threshold. A dispatch protocol may be initiated to dispatch the autonomous vehicle to a service hub when the malodor is associated with certain predefined incidents or when remediation fails to reduce the concentration of airborne molecules below the air quality threshold.

CARBON DIOXIDE INJECTION IN A TRANSPORT UNIT
A system and method for maintaining a desired carbon dioxide concentration within an interior space of a transport unit during transport are disclosed. The method includes determining the carbon dioxide concentration within the interior space; enabling a carbon dioxide injection system when the carbon dioxide concentration is not at a set point value; and disabling the carbon dioxide injection system when the carbon dioxide concentration is at the set point value.
SCENT DIFFUSION CARTRIDGE CONVERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure comprises a plurality of scent diffusion cartridge main body units configured to generate different scents, a mounting recognition unit comprising a plurality of mounting regions in which the scent diffusion cartridge main body unit is mounted, configured to detect whether the scent diffusion cartridge main body unit is mounted in the mounting region, and a control unit configured to determine whether the scent diffusion cartridge main body unit is mounted in the mounting region from the mounting recognition unit, and control a scent of the scent diffusion cartridge main body unit mounted in another mounting region to be selectively diffused as the scent diffusion cartridge main body unit is dismounted from the mounting region.

METHOD OF OPERATING A FRAGRANCING DEVICE
A method for operating a fragrancing device, wherein a blower device is provided which sucks air through an air inlet opening into the first air duct and conveys it to an air outlet opening. At second air duct is provided, which branches off from the first air duct at a first duct branch and rejoins the first air duct at a second duct branch. A first fragrance container is provided in the second air duct between the first duct branch and the second duct branch, which can be flowed through by the air flow in the second air duct. A first valve device is provided upstream and/or downstream and controls the flow through the first fragrance container. The blower is controlled in such a manner that a defined, substantially constant, air flow is generated as a sum through the first air duct and the second air duct.

A vehicle includes a camera configured to capture an image of the interior of a vehicle, an output apparatus configured to output an image and a sound, a scent output apparatus configured to output a scent, and a control apparatus. The control apparatus is configured to determine whether only a pet or only an infant is on board the vehicle based on an image captured by the camera, and upon determining that only a pet or only an infant is on board the vehicle, execute an anxiety reduction action to output an image, a sound, and/or a scent.

An information processing circuitry for controlling a content provided to a user inside a cabin of an autonomous vehicle, wherein the information processing circuitry is configured to: obtain environment data; acquire abstract content data, representing abstract content, being associated with the obtained environment data; measure initial user body data of the user and determine, based on the measured initial user body data, an initial emotional state of the user; determine and provide a first content, being associated with the abstract content, to the user; measure, in response to providing the first content to the user, first user body data of the user and determine, based on the measured first user body data, a first emotional state of the user; and if the initial emotional state and the first emotional state of the user are different: acquire user content data from a database, representing user content associated with a past user experience, being associated with the environment data, wherein the user content is associated with the first content, determine, based on a difference between the initial emotional state and the first emotional state of the user, a second content being associated with the user content and being associated with the first content, provide the second content to the user, measure, in response to providing the second content to the user, second user body data of the user and determine, based on the measured second user body data, a second emotional state of the user, and refine, based on a difference between the first emotional state and the second emotional and a difference between the initial emotional state and the second emotional state, the second content provided to the user for increasing the difference between the initial emotional state and the second emotional state of the user.

To realize a device and method for controlling a scent to be output on the basis of various types of information acquired by an information acquisition unit. The device includes a scent output control unit that executes a scent output control, and a scent output unit that executes a scent output under the control of the scent output control unit, in which the scent output control unit selects a scent to be output according to input information from the information acquisition unit, and outputs the selected scent via the scent output unit. The scent output control unit selects information to be used for scent selection from the input information according to a preset mode, and selects a scent to be output according to the selected input information. For example, the control of the scent to be output is executed on the basis of a user utterance or information of an area, a facility, or the like.
