The instant devices and approach provide a way to provide custom scented fluids (or air freshener) in the form of evaporated scented air and also atomized scented liquids. It combines a vessel capable of constraining scented fluids or air fresheners with a semipermeable membrane for dispersing evaporated scented air and also an atomizer for dispersing scented liquids into the air and thereby eliminates the need for secondary valves.

FORCED AIR SYSTEM OUTLET FOR A VEHICLE WITH A LOADABLE TRAY TO HOLD AN AROMATIC AGENT

An outlet for a forced air system of a vehicle comprising: a primary air flow chamber; a secondary air flow chamber adjacent the primary air flow chamber; an air flow diverter between the primary air flow chamber and the secondary air flow chamber that diverts a portion of air flow from the primary air flow chamber and into the secondary air flow chamber, with the diverted portion of the air flow flowing back into the primary air flow chamber; and a tray configured to retain an aromatic agent, the tray movable into and out of the secondary air flow chamber to selectively place the aromatic agent in contact with air flowing through the secondary air flow chamber to aromatize the air before flowing back into the primary air flow chamber.

Scenting device for scenting a vehicle interior

A scenting device for scenting a vehicle interior may include at least one aromatic substance container holding a supply of an aromatic substance. The device may also include a feeding duct for feeding air to the at least one aromatic substance container and a discharge duct for discharging air enriched with the aromatic substance. The device may further include at least one scenting path for enriching air with the aromatic substance from the at least one aromatic substance container. The device may include a bypass duct branching off from the feeding duct and bypassing the at least one aromatic substance container. The device may also include a bypass valve and at least one container valve. The device may include a camshaft including a bypass cam configured to actuate the bypass valve and at least one container cam configured to actuate the at least one container valve.

MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SCENTING DEVICE

A motor vehicle, in particular a passenger car, comprises an interior, a door and a scenting device with a scent. The scenting device is arranged and designed in such a way that the scenting device emits the scent only when the door is open. As a result, the user of the motor vehicle only perceives the scent when getting in and out of the vehicle and does not become accustomed to the scent while driving.

Vehicle air freshener

An air freshener device for an automobile includes a housing, a removable vented cover, and an interior chamber containing a fan and a heater. The housing is structured for removable receipt of a wax melt container within an upper portion of the interior chamber. In a preferred embodiment, the wax melt container is at least partially formed of silicone and includes a removable spill-proof vented top. A button control on the housing is operable to electrically power the fan and heater, causing a fragrant wax material in the wax melt container to melt, thereby releasing a pleasant aroma out from the vented cover and within the surrounding atmosphere. The interior chamber may further include one or more LEDs for directing light upwardly and out through the vented cover.

An HVAC system is provided for a motor vehicle. That HVAC system includes a heater plenum, a fresh air inlet, an odor absorbent and a regeneration blower assembly that is connected between the heater plenum and the fresh air inlet. The HVAC system further includes a controller configured to regenerate the odor absorbent when an ignition system of the motor vehicle is switched off and a coolant temperature of the motor vehicle exceeds a predetermined coolant temperature required for odor absorbent regeneration.

GERM-FREE RIDE SYSTEM FOR AUTONOMOUS SHARED FLEETS

A system includes a reservoir located in a vehicle. The reservoir is configured to store a substance for eliminating at least one of germs and odors from an interior of the vehicle. The system further includes a dispenser fluidly coupled to the reservoir. The dispenser is configured to dispense the substance into the interior of the vehicle. The system further includes a pump configured to pump the substance from the reservoir to the dispenser. The system further includes a controller configured to detect when an occupant of the vehicle exits the vehicle. In response to detecting the occupant of the vehicle exiting the vehicle, the controller is further configured to activate the pump to dispense the substance from the dispenser into the interior of the vehicle to eliminate at least one of the germs and the odors from the interior of the vehicle.

VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER

A volatile composition dispenser comprises a volatile composition container comprising at least one volatile composition therein. A rupture element is positioned proximate to the volatile composition container. The volatile composition container comprises a cam comprising a camming surface. The camming surface is configured to move at least a portion of the rupture element toward the volatile composition container to puncture the volatile composition container and release at least a portion of the volatile composition from the volatile composition container such that the portion of the volatile composition evaporates and exits the volatile composition dispenser.
