Automotive window glass to which a molding for sealing space between a car body and the window glass is to be attached, the window glass including, an attachment starting point mark indicating an attachment starting point of the molding, and at least one of a termination starting point mark and a termination last point mark in a specification range in which a termination of the molding, of which an attachment to the window glass being started from the attachment starting point, is to be placed.
SHEET METAL PART FOR A GLASS ELEMENT OF A VEHICLE ROOF, DEVICE FOR PRODUCING A GLASS ELEMENT FOR A VEHICLE ROOF, AND VEHICLE ROOF
A sheet metal part for a glass element of a vehicle roof, wherein the sheet metal part is designed as a closed sheet metal frame, which is formed by four elongate frame portions, of which two frame portions are arranged opposite one another in each case, the frame portions have two first slots and one second slot, and the first slots are designed for positioning the sheet metal part in a moulding tool with respect to a first direction, in particular an X direction, and the second slot is designed for positioning the sheet metal part in the moulding tool with respect to a second direction, in particular a Y direction, which runs perpendicular to the first direction, characterized in that one frame portion has a further second slot. The disclosure also relates to a device and to a vehicle roof.
WINDSCREEN INSTALLATION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A side window mount assembly is provided for use in handling windscreens, which includes a vehicle anchor device for securing to a vehicle side window, a platform mechanically secured to the vehicle anchor device, a raising and lowering index hub supported by the platform, a connecting arm extending from the raising and lowering index hub, and a mount structure operably coupled to the connecting arm. The mount structure is configured to engage a support arm of a windscreen anchor assembly. The raising and lower index hub controls index rotation of the connecting arm that moves the mount structure between a dropped down and a raised-up position in an index-wise manner between a series of successively rotationally spaced positions of the raising and lowering index hub.
Motor vehicle window lifter
A motor vehicle window lifter is provided with a twistable or bendable guide rail on which a driver to be coupled with a window pane is shiftably mounted and which includes fastening points which are connectable with fastening receptacles of a carrier element. Between the fastening receptacles of the carrier element at least one supporting point is provided. When bracing the fastening points of the guide rail with the fastening receptacles of the carrier element, the guide rail supports on the supporting point and twisting of the initially straight guide rail with a specified degree of twisting and/or bending of the guide rail with a specified bending radius is effected.
Automotive window glass, method for attaching a molding, and method for manufacturing automotive window glass
Method for setting automotive glass
Provided is an automotive glass setting apparatus and a method for setting a vehicle glass. The method includes loading a glass having a plurality of edges onto a setting base, scanning, by a scanning unit, the plurality of edges of the loaded glass, and calculating a center of the glass based on data scanned by the scanning unit. The method further includes adjusting, by a plurality of alignment units and a plurality of moving mechanisms, a position of the glass to align the calculated center of the glass with a center of the setting base.
