Screen attachment adapter
Systems and methods for receiving a screen and securing the screen relative to a frame are described. A device embodiment includes, but is not limited to, an adapter body defining a channel configured to receive a rigid screen support supporting a screen, and an extension offset from the channel, the extension configured to be inserted into a groove of a frame for an opening to hold the screen relative to the opening when the channel receives the rigid screen support.
Stretchable vehicle window shade
A stretchable vehicle window shade that may have a panel and a positioning tab attached to the panel. The positioning tab may have a magnet disposed inside. The magnet may be adapted so that a magnetic force allows attachment to a metallic portion of a door frame of a vehicle.
CMP Screens
The present invention discloses a window screen that is particularly applicable for screening automobile windows. It is an object of this invention to provide a screen for motor car windows which is of simple, inexpensive manufacture, it can be moved adjustably up and down within the door and is effective and satisfactory in use.
Motor vehicle having a darkening device covering a display device in closed position
The invention relates to a motor vehicle comprising a cab comprising a glass wall and an occultation system, the occultation system comprising a darkening device and being configured to allow the darkening device to move along a trajectory between an open position in which the darkening device does not obscure the glass wall and a closed position in which the darkening device obscures the glass wall, and a camera monitoring system comprising at least one camera configured to capture images of a scene outside the vehicle, and a display device configured to display the images captured by the camera, the display device being positioned in the cab, along the glass wall, wherein when the darkening device is in the closed position, the darkening device is configured to fully obscure the glass wall and to cover the display device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A VEHICLE SANITIZING MODE
Methods and systems are provided for heat sanitizing a vehicle. In one example, a method may include, responsive to receiving a request for cleaning an interior of a vehicle, adjusting a position of a sun shade based on at least one of an ambient temperature outside of the vehicle and a sun load of the vehicle, and operating a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system to heat the interior above an upper threshold temperature for a first threshold duration. In this way, the HVAC system may be advantageously used to expose the vehicle interior to temperatures that kill or inactive microbes.
AUTOMATIC LIGHT BLOCKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
Provided is an automatic light blocking device for a vehicle, wherein a light blocking slider protrudes in a sliding manner from the ceiling or roof of the vehicle in order to block sunlight shining into the interior of the vehicle. To this end, an automatic light blocking device for a vehicle comprises: a light blocking body provided on the ceiling or roof of the vehicle and having at least one sliding groove which is open in the direction in which light is to be blocked; a light blocking slider which is slidably inserted into and coupled to the sliding groove; and a driving unit for sliding the light blocking slider along the light blocking body by using power applied from the vehicle.
Method for operating an interactive visibility screen, a pane device and a motor vehicle
The invention relates to a method for operating an interactive visibility screen on a transparent pane of a pane device, in particular in a motor vehicle. The visibility screen is generated by means of a display unit of the pane device on the pane by pixel-wise fade-in of opaque image points, wherein the image points form a coherent visibility screen area. In the method, an operational action by the user is first detected by means of a detection device, which comprises a selection of a setting range and a movement relative to the pane. Subsequently, an expansion of the visibility screen area at the setting range is set as a function of the detected movement by means of a control device.
Laminated vehicle glass
A laminated vehicle glass has an outer glass, an intermediate layer arrangement, an inner glass, a first color carrier and a second color carrier. The outer glass is at least partly adhesively bonded to the inner glass via the intermediate layer arrangement. The first color carrier is formed as a print with a first printing ink on the inner side of the outer glass. The second color carrier is formed as a print with a printing ink or as a film and has a second color. The second color carrier is provided in at least some regions on the side of the first color carrier that faces away from the outer glass. The first color and second color are different, at least in some regions. The second color is provided in a frame-like region of the laminated vehicle glass.
Heated Sun Shade, Heated Solar Powered Sun Shade, and Method
A vehicle sun shade is provided having a sun shade, at least one solar cell, and a heat source. The sun shade has a light receiving portion configured to be carried beneath a vehicle wind shield. The at least one solar cell is provided in the light receiving portion. The heat source is provided proximate the at least one solar cell traversing the light receiving portion configured to mitigate condensate occlusion of the at least one solar cell on a vehicle wind shield. A method is also provided.
