DECORATIVE MEMBER
The present invention is a decorative member that is attachable to an outer surface of a vehicle, the decorative member including a glass plate that has a first main surface that faces an outer side of the vehicle, and a second main surface that faces an inner side of the vehicle; and a plate-shaped support member that is attached to at least the second main surface of the glass plate and is made of a resin material, in which the support member is configured to be attachable to the outer surface of the vehicle.
Trailer Cleanout Portal Assembly
A trailer cleanout portal assembly includes an inner bracket attached to an inner surface of a trailer perimeter wall. The inner bracket includes a first central aperture extending therethrough that is alignable with a wall aperture in the perimeter wall. A cover bracket is attached to the inner bracket with the perimeter wall positioned between the inner and cover brackets. The cover bracket has an access aperture extending therethrough that is aligned with the first central aperture. A panel positioned between the inner bracket and the cover bracket is vertically movable to open or close the access aperture. An open space is defined extending from a lower edge of the panel and between the cover bracket and the inner bracket such that material falling between the inner and cover brackets freely falls downwardly from the assembly.
DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A door of a vehicle may include a first door module forming a door skeleton; and a second door module coupled with the first door module and forming a door window; and where the second door module is made of a relatively lightweight material as compared to the first door module and a reinforcement member is coupled along external edge portions of the first door module and the second door module, reducing weight and cost of the door of the vehicle.
VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A door assembly for a vehicle can include a front door assembly and a rear door assembly. A rear portion of the front door assembly can terminate at a rear edge. At least a portion of the rear edge can be spaced away from a side frame member in the longitudinal direction toward the first side frame member. A front portion of the rear door assembly can terminate at a front edge. The front edge can be adjacent to the rear edge of the front door. At least a portion of the front edge can be spaced away from the side frame member in the longitudinal direction toward the first side frame member such that at least a portion of the front edge of the rear door assembly is located between the rear edge of the front door assembly and the second side frame member.
Vehicle door module, vehicle door assembly including same, and vehicle
A door module for a vehicle door assembly that includes a net assembly can include an assembly bracket, a latch assembly and a handle. The assembly bracket can include a net attachment portion configured to secure at least a portion of the net assembly when the net assembly is attached to the door assembly, a handle mounting portion, and a latch mounting portion. The latch assembly can be configured to releasably engage the vehicle frame when the door closes the opening, and the latch assembly is connected to the latch mounting portion. The handle can be supported on the handle mounting portion. The handle mounting portion can pivotally support the handle relative to the assembly bracket. The handle can be coupled to the latch assembly such that the latch assembly releases engagement with the frame assembly when the handle pivots in a predetermined direction.
Structural Reinforcement for Vehicle Door
There is disclosed a member for baffling, reinforcement or sealing. Typically, the member includes a carrier member and an activatable material disposed upon the carrier member.
Bracket-integrated double-layer door impact beam, apparatus and method for manufacturing the same
An apparatus for manufacturing a bracket-integrated double-layer door impact beam is provided. The apparatus includes a lower mold having a lower cavity formed with a base material molded to have a U-shaped cross section and a predetermined length. The base material is seated on the lower cavity. A lower electrode terminal is disposed in the lower mold to contact the base material. An upper mold has an upper cavity therein and is coupled with the lower mold to pressurize both end portions of the U-shaped cross section of the base material inward to form the base material with an O-shaped cross section. An upper electrode terminal is disposed in the upper mold to contact the base material.
Vehicle with abrasion-resistant door panel
A personal automotive vehicle includes a door with a door panel that partly defines a reconfigurable passenger cabin. The door panel presents an abrasion-resistant portion to the interior of the passenger cabin at an upper section of the door panel below the window. A seat is mounted in the passenger cabin and can be rotated inwardly to increase the available range of movement of the seat occupant. The abrasion-resistant portion of the door panel is located to prevent scuff-related damage to the door panel when the seat occupant crosses his legs. The abrasion-resistant portion of the door panel can be selectively covered and uncovered by a moveable portion of the door panel, which may include an armrest.
VEHICLE DOOR OR TAILGATE WITH SUPPORT STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SUCH
A vehicle door or tailgate, in particular for motor vehicles, with a frame which is formed as a support structure of the door or tailgate and is separate from an exterior and/or interior trim, wherein the frame is produced separately from plastic and/or a composite material, wherein the frame comprises at least two components which are connected to one another, and wherein the at least two components have connection means which comprise tongue and groove connections.
COLLAPSIBLE VEHICLE DOOR
A flexible, collapsible vehicle door is provided that can be easily installed and uninstalled on a vehicle, without modification to the vehicle. The uninstalled door can be rolled up into a compact configuration allowing for storage. The collapsible door includes latches which secure the door to the top and bottom of the door frame. Straps on top and bottom of the door further hold the frame in place. The flexible door material rolls down from the top of the frame when needed for use. The door further attaches to the frame by way of two steel posts that fit the inside hinge openings on the stock vehicle body. A latch portion of the collapsible door may be used to secure the collapsible door in the closed position.
