VEHICLE HALF DOOR ASSEMBLIES
A multi-component door assembly for a vehicle includes a lower door portion rotatably coupled to a body of the vehicle and including at least one receiving aperture defined therein, and an upper door portion selectively removable from the lower door portion and including at least one post configured to be received within the at least one receiving aperture for removably coupling the upper door portion to the lower door portion. At least one trim cap is configured to selectively cover and conceal the at least one receiving aperture.
RESTRAINT SYSTEM OPERATING METHOD AND RESTRAINT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE HAVING DETACHABLE DOORS
A restraint system operating method includes, among other things, when a detachable door is attached to a vehicle, operating a restraint system of a vehicle at least in part in response to a signal from a door sensor of the detachable door. When the detachable door is detached from the vehicle, the method operates the restraint system of the vehicle without relying on the signal from the door sensor.
METHOD FOR DETECTING AN OBSTACLE IN AN ACCESS DEVICE
A method for state-based maintenance of an access device of a vehicle, in particular of a public transport vehicle, wherein the access device includes a moveable element and an electric drive for moving the moveable element and is attached to the vehicle. The drive is controlled with control signals, wherein actual state signals for describing the state are generated based on a detected state of the access device. The control signals are applied to a physical simulation model for computationally simulating the access device and determining expected target state signals and wherein based on a comparison between the actual state signals and associated target state signals, a maintenance state of the access device is determined. The simulation model is adjusted based on the comparison between the actual state signals and the associated target state signals.
FASTENING CLIP DEVICE CONFIGURED TO SECURE A DOOR MODULE TO A DOOR FRAME OF A VEHICLE
A device for securing one or more units includes a first component and a second component configured to couple to the first component. The first component includes a body that has an elongated shape and a head that is connected to an upper longitudinal end of the body. The head includes a part that is configured to be rotationally engaged by a tool. The first component also includes a retainer at a lower longitudinal end of the body. The first component further includes an elastic latch formed in a thickness of the body. The elastic latch includes a tab that has an upper end connected to the body and a free lower end. The elastic latch is configured to cooperate with complementary means of one or both of the second component or the one or more units.
A Panel for an Agricultural Vehicle and an Agricultural Vehicle having such a Panel
A panel for use on an agricultural vehicle, such as a combine harvester, used to cover a portion of the interior of the vehicle, and is formed from a flexible sheet material provided on a substantially rigid sub-frame. The flexible sheet material can be arranged to be easily opened or removed from the sub-frame, providing relatively easy access to the vehicle interior, combined with a relatively light-weight structure.
Trailer cleanout portal assembly
A trailer cleanout portal assembly includes an inner bracket attached to an inner surface of a trailer perimeter wall. The inner bracket includes a first central aperture extending therethrough that is alignable with a wall aperture in the perimeter wall. A cover bracket is attached to the inner bracket with the perimeter wall positioned between the inner and cover brackets. The cover bracket has an access aperture extending therethrough that is aligned with the first central aperture. A panel positioned between the inner bracket and the cover bracket is vertically movable to open or close the access aperture. An open space is defined extending from a lower edge of the panel and between the cover bracket and the inner bracket such that material falling between the inner and cover brackets freely falls downwardly from the assembly.
RETROFIT REAR CURBSIDE DOOR FOR VEHICLE
A rear curbside door assembly includes a door frame, a door, and a support member. The door frame includes first and second side frame members, an upper frame member and at least one stair. The second side frame member is spaced from the first side frame member and is configured for releasable attachment to a D-pillar of a body of a vehicle. The upper frame member extends between the first and second side frame members. The at least one stair extends between the first and second side frame members and is spaced from the upper frame member. The door is pivotally coupled with the door frame. The support member is configured for releasable attachment to a body of a vehicle. The support member is releasably attached to the first side frame member. A vehicle including a rear curbside door assembly and methods thereof are also provided.
UTILITY TERRAIN VEHICLE DOOR ASSEMBLY
A utility task vehicle includes a vehicle body including an opening. A door is positioned adjacent the opening. The door is configured to pivot about a first axis between an open position and a closed position. A window assembly is positioned adjacent and operably coupled to the door. The window assembly is configured to pivot about a second axis between an open position and a closed position. Rotation of the window assembly about the second axis is driven by rotation of said door about the first axis. In combination, the door and the window assembly substantially seal the opening of the vehicle body.
Fastening clip device configured to secure a door module to a door frame of a vehicle
A device for securing a first unit to a second unit includes a first component having a body and a head. The body is configured to be inserted in at least one of a first orifice of the first unit and a second orifice of the second unit. The first component includes a retainer at a lower longitudinal end of the body. A second component is configured to couple to the first component. At least one of the first and second components includes at least one cam surface and the other of the first and second components includes at least one follower configured to cooperate with the at least one cam surface, and to transform a rotational movement of the first component into a longitudinal translation movement of the first component in relation to the second component so that the retainer bears on the lower surface of the second unit.
Military Vehicle Door Quick-Release Mechanism
One example embodiment is an armored vehicle door quick-release mechanism includes a handle, a slide lock latch, and an actuator mechanism. The handle is coupled to the slide lock latch. The movement of the handle in a first direction causes the slide lock latch to move in a first direction to a first position so that the slide lock latch is adapted to attach the vehicle door to the actuator mechanism adapted to open and close the vehicle door. A movement of the handle in a second direction causes that slide lock latch to move in a second direction to a second position to detach the vehicle door from the actuator mechanism.
