VIBRATION GENERATION DEVICE
Exposure to sunlight is minimized.
A vibration generation device 1 includes a vibration generator that generates a vibration, and a vibration transmission member 4 that has a vehicle-side fixed part 30 to be fixed to a vehicle 50 and transmits to the vehicle 50 the vibration generated by the vibration generator, wherein the vehicle-side fixed part 30 is provided within a range R of the vibration generator, as viewed from the vibration direction of the vibration generator.
STORAGE BIN FOR VEHICLE DOOR
This disclosure relates to storage bin for a door of a motor vehicle. In an example, a door, which provides a boundary between a passenger compartment of the motor vehicle and an exterior of the motor vehicle, includes a storage bin configured such that an item in the storage bin is accessible both from the passenger compartment and from the exterior.
DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE
A door assembly for a motor vehicle includes a door trim panel attached to a door body on the vehicle inside. The door trim panel includes a first impact region and a second impact region formed integrally therewith, wherein at each of the impact regions, an intermediate space is formed between the door trim panel and the door body. In order to allow an optimized protection of an occupant's pelvic region from injury by a vehicle door in a side impact, the door trim panel includes a channel portion, which is recessed back towards the door body, is formed between the impact regions and has two mutually opposite wall portions extending in the vehicle transverse direction, each of which is formed integrally with an impact region.
DOOR PROTECTOR FOR PETS
An apparatus for protecting a vehicle door panel from pet damage, including a door protector with a first portion configured for insertion into the vehicle door and a second portion configured for covering a door panel surface exposed to a pet. In this manner, the door protector protects the door panel surface from pet damage when installed over the vehicle door panel. The door protector can be removably inserted between a window glass and the vehicle door panel. The door protector can also be configured for covering a door panel handle exposed to a pet. The door protector can comprise a lite velum plastic for installation rigidity and an ethylene propylene diene monomer for protection. The door protectors can be adjustable and trimmable for universal use. A kit can be provided with protectors for other vehicle surfaces.
DOOR ARMREST
An armrest upper part covering an upper portion of an armrest lower part includes a front end portion adjacent to a switch finisher and an engagement claw portion extending from the front end portion. An upper part of the engagement claw portion is covered with the switch finisher. At the armrest lower part, a fixing portion for engagement with the engagement claw portion is provided. At a back surface of the switch finisher adjacent to a front of the armrest upper part and covering the upper portion of the armrest lower part, a restriction piece is provided at a position facing the fixing portion via the engagement claw portion. The restriction piece restricts detachment of the engagement claw portion from the fixing portion.
Vehicle window edge water management
Vehicle windows may include water management features. In some embodiments, the vehicle windows include a water management corner piece for managing the flow of water or other precipitation around the window. The water management corner piece may be secured to a window glass pane and may positioned and shaped for channeling the water along an engineered drainage path.
DOOR OPENING AID SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for assisting in the opening of a vehicle door includes a camera disposed on the vehicle for obtaining a plurality of images of an object at the periphery of the vehicle. The example system includes a controller which is configured to determine a distance between the object and a door of the vehicle based on the plurality of images and to initiate a vehicle response based on the distance.
AUTOMOTIVE TRIM PIECE WITH INTUITIVE SMART SWITCHES LOCATED UNDER THE AUTOMOTIVE SOFT TRIM SKIN
A vehicle door trim interior is disclosed herein. The vehicle door trim interior has an armrest; a surface depression located in the armrest, wherein the surface depression is covered with a skin; and at least one touch sensor operably coupled to an actuator of a component of the vehicle door trim interior, wherein the at least one touch sensor is located below the skin covering the surface depression and wherein the at least one touch sensor is not visually perceivable through the skin.
PROTECTOR WITH SENSOR
An inner-cabin side part of a hollow part of a protector with a sensor extends between a top end and an inner-cabin side end with an inner-cabin side apex closest to an interior of an automobile body. A distance is shorter between the inner-cabin side apex and the inner-cabin side end than between the top end and the inner-cabin side apex. An outer-cabin side part of the hollow part extends between the top end and an outer-cabin side end with an outer-cabin side apex closest to an exterior of the automobile body. A distance is shorter between the outer-cabin side apex and the outer-cabin side end than between the top end and the outer-cabin side apex. Thicknesses of an outer coat of the hollow part are increased toward the apexes from the top end, and are uniform between the apexes and the inner-cabin side end and the outer-cabin side end.
VEHICLE WINDOW EDGE WATER MANAGEMENT
This disclosure details vehicle windows that include water management features. In some embodiments, the vehicle windows include a water management corner piece for managing the flow of water or other precipitation around the window. The corner piece may be secured to a window glass pane and may positioned and shaped for channeling the water along an engineered drainage path.
