AUTOMOTIVE DING AND DENTS PROTECTION SYSTEM
A device for protecting the automobile doors from scratches and dents to the finishes made by other cars or objects while the automobile is parked on a parking lot or other spaces. The device has an impact absorbing material attach to one side of and structural bar while a part of the door outside panel is attached to the other side of the structural bar. The structural bar and the absorbing material are stow inside the door frame. The structural bar is connected through a series of bearings and shafts to an electric motor that rotates the structural bar and exposes the impact material to provide the door protection. The motor is controlled by a solenoid valve.
Vehicle side door structure
A vehicle side door structure that includes: a side door body portion configured to open and close a side door opening, the side door body portion including a door inner panel and a door outer panel; and a sensor placed inside the side door body portion, the sensor including a detection component configured to face outward in the vehicle width direction and to detect information in the side direction of the vehicle by using a detection medium, wherein a transmissive portion is disposed on the vehicle width direction outside of the detection component, the transmissive portion configuring part of the door outer panel and being configured by a material that allows the detection medium to be transmitted through the material.
Adjustable cup holder assembly for a motor vehicle door
An adjustable cup holder assembly is provided. That adjustable cup holder assembly includes a support having a guide track and a drag bar. The adjustable cup holder also includes a cup holder having (a) a body including a well, (b) an actuator and (c) a drag. The cup holder may be displaced along the guide track and secured in various positions on the support by engaging the drag bar. A motor vehicle door including a cup holder with an adjustment mechanism for displacing the cup holder along the body of the door between multiple positions is also disclosed.
FLEX BUTTON SYSTEM
A flex button system is disclosed. The system may comprise a top panel. The top panel may comprise one or more cut-through openings and one or more flaps. At least one side of the flap may be edged by the cut-through opening. The flap may be configured to flex with respect to the top panel, in response to a press of the flap. At least one of the one or more cut-through openings may be configured to accommodate one or more fingers.
VEHICLE WITH ACTIVE DOOR ZONE
A vehicle includes: a frame, a rotatable door; an inhibitor comprising: an arm extending through a selective gate including: upper and lower springs respectively biasing upper and lower rollers against the arm; upper and lower stoppers configured to, upon activation, compress the upper and lower rollers against the arm, thus stopping rotation of the door; sensors, processor(s) configured to: activate and deactivate the stoppers based on sensed events.
Automotive trim piece with intuitive smart switches located under the automotive soft trim skin
A vehicle door trim interior, including: an armrest; a surface depression located in the armrest, wherein the surface depression is covered with a skin; at least one actuation switch located below the skin and in the surface depression; and a position control switch associated with least one actuation switch, the position control switch only becoming active upon actuation of the at least one actuation switch.
POSITIONING APPARATUS OF AN EQUIPMENT IN AN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLE PANEL
The invention is directed to a positioning apparatus (30) for positioning an automotive equipment intended to be inserted in an opening defined in an automotive vehicle panel (10), the positioning apparatus (30) comprising: a central body (31) comprising a recess (32) intended to receive said automotive equipment (22), a peripheral rim (33) projecting from the central body (31), configured to cooperate with an edge (12E) of the opening (12) and to centre, within the opening, the automotive equipment that is inserted in the recess (32), and at least two flexible retaining members (34) arranged on the peripheral rim (33), each retaining member (34) being configured to cooperate with an edge (12E) of the opening (12) so that the positioning apparatus (30) can be removably attached to the automotive vehicle panel.
ADJUSTABLE DOOR ASSEMBLY FOR VEHICLE DOOR, VENTILATION SYSTEM FOR OFF-ROAD VEHICLE INCLUDING SAME, AND VEHICLE
An adjustable door assembly for a vehicle door can include a striker and an adjustable mechanism connected to the striker that moves the striker to any of a plurality of positions that range from a first position through a second position. The adjustable mechanism can include one of a geared mechanism and a cam lock mechanism. The geared mechanism can include a pinion gear and a rack gear engaging the pinion gear. The striker can be mounted onto the rack gear to move the striker to any of the plurality of positions. The cam lock mechanism can include a first tube, a second tube telescoping in the first tube, a locking bolt, and a lever. The lever can selectively move the locking bolt to an unlocked state that permits the second tube to telescope inside the first tube and move the striker between the first position and the second position.
DOOR TRIM MODULE
A USB jack is provided below a bulging part of a door trim. Therefore, the bulging part can prevent rainwater from entering the USB jack. As a result, the USB jack can be provided on the door trim. In addition, since a connection hole is provided in the bulging part, a USB cable can be arranged to extend from an internal space of a storage part to a lower space of the bulging part through the connection hole. As a result, although the USB jack is provided below the bulging part, the USB jack and a smartphone stored in the storage part can be connected by the USB cable.
Vehicle body resin member, window member with vehicle body resin member, and vehicle
