SUPPORTING FRAME AND SUNROOF APPARATUS
A supporting frame is configured to support a sunshade of a sunroof apparatus. The supporting frame supports the sunshade from below and includes a first inverted V-shaped protruding portion, a second inverted V-shaped protruding portion, and a third inverted V-shaped protruding portion, which are arranged in order from a downstream side toward an upstream side in an unrolling direction of the sunshade. The third inverted V-shaped protruding portion extends continuously in a longitudinal direction of the supporting frame. The first inverted V-shaped protruding portion and the second inverted V-shaped protruding portion are arranged alternately in the longitudinal direction within a range of the length of the third inverted V-shaped protruding portion such that the sunshade is supported, in the unrolling direction, by the third inverted V-shaped protruding portion and the first inverted V-shaped protruding portion or by the third inverted V-shaped protruding portion and the second inverted V-shaped protruding portion.
ROLLO ASSEMBLY
A rollo assembly intended for use in a roof system for a vehicle, comprises a rotatable winding shaft accommodated in a rollo housing. A rollo screen has a rear end which can be wound on or off the winding shaft to enable the rollo screen to move between an open and closed position. An opposite forward end of the rollo screen is provided with an operating beam to move the rollo screen between the open and closed position. Opposite guide channels hold opposite side edges of the rollo screen and guide them in a longitudinal direction. Each end portion of the guide channels adjacent to the rollo housing includes a lower wall part formed by a respective guide rail and an upper wall part formed by a guide part which belongs to or is fixed to the rollo housing.
ROLLER SHADE APPARATUS
This roller shade device is provided with: a shade; a shade take-up roller for taking up the shade; wires which are attached to the shade; wire take-up rollers which are disposed with the axial centers thereof offset from the shade take-up roller and which are used for taking up the wires; reversal pulleys for reversing the direction of the wires; tension imparting means for imparting tension to the shade and the wires by application of bias such that the shade take-up roller and the wire take-up rollers are separated from the reversal pulleys; and interlocking rotating means for rotating the shade take-up roller and the wire take-up rollers in an interlocked manner. According to this roller shade device, a large width can be secured for the shade.
SUNSCREEN ASSEMBLY FOR AN OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION
Sunscreen assembly for an open roof construction in a vehicle of the type includes a flexible sunscreen having a center part and two opposed longitudinal edges connected to the center part and folding lines along which the longitudinal edges fold inwardly and whereby the center part of the flexible sunscreen comprises at least one layer of cloth. The sunscreen assembly further comprises a rotatable winding shaft configured to wind and unwind the sunscreen at a first one of its transversal edges, two opposed longitudinal guides configured to receive therein and guide corresponding ones of the inwardly folded longitudinal edges of the sunscreen, and wherein the folding lines are formed substantially by at least one respective incision made in the center part of the sunscreen along which the longitudinal edges are folded inwardly.
VEHICLE TOP ASSEMBLY
A vehicle top assembly having a housing and a pair of rails that are perpendicular to and extend away from the housing. A roller is rotatably mounted within the housing. A layer of material is attached to the roller and has one or more locking members attached to a side edge.
Sunshade assembly and open roof construction provided therewith
A sunshade assembly for use in a vehicle roof assembly comprises a flexible sunscreen having at least a central part and two opposed inwardly folded longitudinal edges connected to the central part by means of folding lines. A winding shaft for winding and unwinding the flexible sunscreen is provided at the trailing edge and an operating beam at the leading edge of the sunscreen. Two opposed longitudinal guides retain therein and guide corresponding ones of the folded longitudinal edges of the sunscreen. The guides are provided with locking members for engaging an outer end of the inwardly folded longitudinal edges for preventing these edges from moving out of the longitudinal guides when the sunscreen is at least partly unwound. The sunscreen includes at least two members which are each arranged substantially parallel to a respective longitudinal edge and which are buckle-stiff in a direction parallel to said longitudinal edge.
Sunroof seal apparatus and related sunroof assemblies for use with vehicles
A disclosed assembly includes a rail and an inner seal fixedly coupled to the rail that is arranged along a length of the rail. The inner seal includes a flap hiding a part of the rail adjacent the flap from view in a vehicle cabin. A shoe slidably coupled to the rail adjacent the flap is movable along the rail to open or close a sunshade held by the shoe. A channel extending through the shoe receives the flap. The shoe is engaged with a first segment of the flap folded in the channel while a second segment of the flap external to the channel is unfolded. Movement of the shoe causing the second segment to pass into the channel and fold therein as the first segment exits the channel and unfolds to prevent the part of the rail from being exposed.
LUMINOUS CURTAIN DEVICE
A luminous curtain device has a luminous curtain, a side member, and a luminous module. The side member is mounted on a side of the luminous curtain. The luminous module is mounted in the side member, and projects light on ends of optical fibers of the luminous curtain. The luminous curtain device is applied on sunlight-shading products for an automobile to shade sunlight. The luminous module can project light on the luminous curtain to make the luminous curtain luminous with a decorative effect.
OPEN ROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR A VEHICLE AND ROLLO ASSEMBLY FOR USE THEREIN
An open roof construction for a vehicle comprises a rollo assembly. The rollo assembly comprises a rollo screen and a winding shaft for the rollo screen which is rotatable around a stationary axis of rotation. The rollo screen firstly extends in a first direction, next around a reversal member and finally back in an opposite second direction and ends at a rollo screen edge which is attached to a stationary member. The rollo screen has two longitudinal edges which, when the rollo screen is wound off, are brought into engagement with holding members. The longitudinal edges of the rollo screen each comprise a hooking member insertable into a holding groove and hook behind a narrow entrance thereof. A reversal member is provided with a device acting on at least one of the hooking member and holding groove to enable the hooking member to enter and exit the holding groove.
Rollo assembly and open roof construction for a vehicle provided therewith
A rollo assembly comprises a rollo screen having opposed forward and rearward edges and two opposed side edges extending in a longitudinal direction. A biased winding shaft supports the rollo screen at the rearward edge thereof. An operating beam connects to the forward edge of the rollo screen. Two guide members extend in said longitudinal direction and each define a guide channel for guiding an operating beam end. Near to each of the operating beam ends a first end of an elongate flexible drive member is connected, wherein each drive member, starting from a position near to the respective operating beam end, firstly extends in the longitudinal direction away from the winding shaft, next around a reversal member and finally in the longitudinal direction towards the winding shaft. Each drive member has a second end which has a stationary position. The reversal member is driven in said longitudinal direction.
