A variable head lining apparatus may include a roof portion including a rail structure and entirely exposable to an internal of a vehicle; and a variable roof portion configured to partially cover the roof portion by slidably operating along the rail structure.

VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE OF AUTOMOBILE

A sun shade apparatus is provided. Each of a pair of right and left roof side rails is constituted of upper and lower members which are joined to each other. A dimension in an up-down direction can be reduced while a closed cross-sectional area required for the roof side rail is ensured to maintain a strength and a rigidity thereof, and a height of a vehicle cabin can be ensured by compactly disposing a sun shade apparatus under a lower surface of a roof panel while enhancing side collision resisting performance by restricting bending of the roof side rails in cooperation with a cross member when a collision load of a side collision is input. Due to roof side garnishes covering outer end portions of the roof panel and upper surfaces of the roof side rails, the rigidity and the strength of the roof side rails can be further enhanced.

Multi-position electronic smart sunshade

A deployable display for use in a vehicle is provided. The deployable display can be positioned in a plurality of stowed or a plurality of deployed positions, wherein the deployable display functions as a sun visor located in front of a windshield of the vehicle when it is in a first one of the plurality of deployed positions and when the deployable display is in a second one of the plurality of deployed positions or the first one of the plurality of deployed positions the deployable display functions as a screen that provides images from a controller operatively coupled to the deployable display.

SUNROOF APPARATUS

A sunroof apparatus includes: a pair of guide rail members which are arranged on two opposite side edges in a vehicle widthwise direction of a roof opening along a vehicle front-rear direction; a movable panel; and a functional member which is configured to move along the pair of guide rail members and support the movable panel to open and close the roof opening, each guide rail member is provided with a functional member accommodating portion which accommodates the functional member and is located on an outer side of the vehicle widthwise direction with respect to the roof opening. According to the sunroof apparatus, the visual field from the sunroof in a vehicle chamber can be effectively enlarged, and water, dust or the like can be effectively prevented from invading the arrangement space of the functional member.

STRUCTURE OF ELECTRIC SUNSHADE AND SUNROOF

A structure of an electric sunshade and a sunroof may include glass sleds which both open and close a sunroof glass by sliding in a longitudinal direction along mechanism rails disposed at both sides of a roof panel of a vehicle, wherein a front sled and a rear sled are rotatably coupled to both end portions of each of glass sleds, respectively, main cable devices which are connected to a driving motor by a cable, and movable along the mechanism rails, and separately include a cable protrusion slidably accommodated in glass grooves formed in lateral surfaces of the front sled, the rear sled, and the glass sled, and sunshade sleds which are selectively coupled to the main cable devices, and slide to open or close the sunshade.

Moon roof with integrated ambient lighting

A lighting system for a vehicle cabin is discloses and includes a light directing conduit disposed about at least a portion of an opening through a vehicle roof. A pin spot uses light from the light directing conduit for localized lighting within the vehicle interior.

VEHICLE SUNSHADE

A sunshade for a vehicle is provided herein. The sunshade includes a base member having independently movable first and second portions. A first handle is disposed on the first portion and a second handle is disposed on the second portion. A lamp assembly is operably coupled to the base member.

Structural panoramic windshield and roof

A windshield and roof system of a vehicle includes: a windshield that includes glass and that is transparent; a front cross-member that extends laterally between A-pillars of the vehicle, that is disposed rearward of the windshield, and that has a thickness in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle of less than 50 millimeters (mm); and a roof portion that is transparent, that is located rearward of the windshield, where the windshield and the roof portion are joined with the front cross-member.
