The rain and sun shield for a covered golf cart is semi-permanently attached to the roof of a golf cart. The device is easy to install; will retrofit to any standard golf cart roof; does not interfere with the parking and storing profile (i.e. are sized to fit within the perimeter of any standard golf cart roof when in the closed position) of a fleet of golf carts. The device is easily opened and closed to provide the golf cart user with added sun and rain protection when in use.

The present disclosure also concerns automobiles to which an after-market ring rack, a roof, a cargo holder, an extension tub, and/or a vehicle body extension framework are attached. For example, an automobile may comprise a rear and rear side vehicle protection system comprising a custom-made bumper, the bumper comprising a step, a coupler for attaching tow ropes or chains, one or more built in storage sections, with each such storage section comprising an access door and door latch, accommodation for vehicle lights, and combinations of such features.

The sunshade assembly includes one or more clamps, a pair of parallel support beams, and a sunshade panel. The one or more clamps fasten to roll bars on a driver side and on a passenger side, The pair of parallel support beams connect onto the clamps, such that the supports panels are horizontally aligned to the respective roll bars and parallel to each other. The sunshade panel is configured to connect to and span between the pair of support beams which serve as a guide for the sunshade panel to retract and extend within. A latch mechanism connected to a handle can be actuated to hold the sunshade panel in a desired location along the pair of support beams, enabling customized levels of sun shading.
